The Cisco 25Gigabit Ethernet Card is a high-performance dual-port network interface designed for modern data centers, virtualized environments, and enterprise servers. Engineered as an OCP bracket-height plug-in module with SFP28 optical fiber capabilities, this NIC unlocks 25 Gigabit speeds per port, delivering fast, reliable connectivity between servers, storage systems, and top-tier Cisco networking gear. Built to support demanding workloads—from dense virtualization and AI/ML pipelines to heavy data transfer and disaster-recovery replication—this card provides the bandwidth you need without compromising latency, reliability, or manageability.

  • Ultra-fast dual 25GbE performance: Each port delivers true 25 Gbps bandwidth, enabling line-rate throughput for latency-sensitive applications, large-scale virtualized environments, and high-throughput storage replication. This dual-port setup supports network-intensive workloads, reduces bottlenecks, and improves overall data-center efficiency by enabling faster server-to-network communication and smoother data pipelines.
  • Flexible SFP28 optical connectivity: The card uses SFP28 transceivers to support optical fiber links, giving you broad compatibility with a wide range of optics (SR/LR/ER) and fiber types. This flexibility makes it ideal for campus, data-center, and edge deployments where fiber distance, interference resistance, and upgrade pathways matter most for future-proofing your network.
  • OCP Bracket Height form factor: Specifically designed for Open Compute Project (OCP) compliant servers, this NIC integrates cleanly into modern server chassis. The OCP height keeps cabling tidy, simplifies maintenance, and enables rapid deployment across large scale-out environments while preserving space in dense racks.
  • Plug-in module for effortless deployment: This plug-in NIC slides into the server’s dedicated OCP/PCIe slot, reducing complexity during installation. Its compact design supports hot-swapping in compatible systems, enabling routine hardware refreshes with minimal downtime and a smoother path to network modernization without full server replacement.

How to Install Cisco 25Gigabit Ethernet Card

  • Power down the server and unplug all power sources. Ground yourself to prevent electrostatic discharge and protect sensitive components.
  • Open the server chassis and locate the OCP NIC slot or an appropriate PCIe slot designed for OCP NICs. Verify that the chassis, motherboard, and cooling design support OCP-height network adapters.
  • Insert the Cisco 25Gigabit Ethernet Card firmly into the slot until it is seated and aligned with the chassis mounting points. Ensure the connector engages fully and that there is no excessive flex in the card.
  • Secure the card using the designated mounting screw or retention mechanism specified by the chassis vendor. Recheck that the card sits squarely and that there is no obstruction to airflow or adjacent components.
  • Reconnect fiber cables to the SFP28 ports using compatible transceivers (SR/LR/ER) and appropriate fiber types. Route cables to prevent strain and ensure clear paths for airflow inside the chassis.
  • Power on the server and install or update the Cisco driver and firmware for the NIC. Use the operating system’s device manager or Cisco’s management tools to confirm the NIC is detected and reporting the correct speeds.
  • Configure the network interfaces as needed: set up NIC teaming or link aggregation if supported, assign VLANs, and align with your data-center policies. Run basic connectivity tests and benchmarking to validate throughput and stability before putting the system into production.

Just another reason to bark.
Color: Blue
I was so excited to come across this Interactive Dog Toy from Mewzoo, figuring that it would be a great way to give our dog some inside exercise during the rainy season that we have in this neck of the woods. It arrives with a charger, instructions and two ropes that can be tied to it, and it took about 2 hours to get it fully charged. In order to get it moving, one needs to unscrew the blue plastic piece and that gives access to the control inside of it. It has three speeds, but the faster speeds only seem to lessen the time intervals for when it moves, they don't make it move any faster or further. This is kind of a bummer, because it really does not move very far, it mostly just stays within a foot or two of where it started. So not much exercise potential here, unless you consider barking exercise. Barking is one thing we do not need more of in this household, so this toy is a bit of a flop for us. I imagined that our boy might run circles around it and get a bit more hyper, maybe even grab it by the rope and carry it around for a bit. In the beginning I think he was fearful because he just barked at it of it, and then he decided it was time to eat. As you can see in the video, after only a few minutes with it, it looks like he's decided it's just a nuisance, lol. The concept is good, and the toy itself is reasonably constructed to withstand some playtime. I just think it needs to have more movement and skitter around better to cover more distance. Then again at the whopping price of $10.99, i really can't complain.

Good interactive toy that keeps even my poodle mix busy
Color: Blue
We have a poodle mix that easily gets bored with most toys, including the other interactive bouncy balls. This toy seems to keep him busy though and so far he has not destroyed it or grown bored of it. The only problem we have is keeping it charged because he seems to wear it out but it is not a problem to recharge it with the USB cable that is included. It is a little tricky screwing the toy back together after charging the battery but I am getting the hang of it. Once it is set to one of the play modes the ropes on top (that you need to put on) will start spinning back and forth and the toy gyrates around seeming like it is alive to our dog. The loves playing with it in all of the modes but I think he likes that faster modes better. It comes with an extra rope which was good because our raptor dog already ripped the first one apart. The price on this toy is relatively low compared to tother toys to I highly recommend this for anyone that has a dog who is bored with the typical play toys.

Great Enrichment Toy for Treats or Kibble!
Color: red
I love this toy—and so do my dogs! It’s perfect for daily enrichment and works great as a kibble feeder too. It holds a generous amount (about 3 cups), rolls smoothly, and keeps my dogs mentally engaged while they work for their food. One of my favorite features is the adjustable treat holes. You can easily change the difficulty level, which makes it suitable for dogs of all sizes and skill levels. Whether you have a beginner or a more experienced puzzle solver, this toy adapts perfectly. It’s well-made, easy to clean, and durable enough for everyday use. This has been a great addition to our routine and helps slow down eating while keeping my dogs entertained and stimulated. Highly recommend for anyone looking to add more enrichment to their dog’s day!
