Unlock scalable, education-focused e-commerce with Microsoft Dynamics 365 e-Commerce Tiers. The Step-Up Subscription License is designed for academic institutions and high-volume deployments, delivering enterprise-grade storefront capabilities with discounted pricing through the Microsoft Enrollment for Education Solutions (EES). With a defined monthly transaction capacity of 2,900, it empowers campuses to grow their online commerce footprint—from student services portals to campus-wide retail experiences—while maintaining tight budgeting, governance, and security. This tier is built to cover multiple users under a single license, simplifying procurement and enabling broad access across departments, faculties, and student organizations without compromising control or compliance.

  • Education-first licensing with broad access: This Step-Up license leverages EES pricing to maximize value for schools, universities, and other educational organizations. A single license can support many users across campuses, enabling storefront access for students, faculty, staff, and student organizations while preserving centralized governance. The tiered structure grows with your campus needs, applying discounts to eligible academic purchases so budgeting remains predictable and administration remains streamlined.
  • High-velocity, scalable transactions: Engineered for mid-to-large e‑commerce workloads, the 2,900 monthly transaction cap is designed to handle catalogs, multi-channel sales, and secure payments processing. As your campus commerce expands, you can plan capacity within the Microsoft cloud environment, delivering fast checkouts, personalized experiences, and real-time analytics without compromising budget or performance.
  • Seamless integration within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem: The tier integrates tightly with the broader Dynamics 365 suite—including commerce, customer data, and intelligent insights—creating a cohesive e-commerce experience. Expect streamlined product catalogs, secure checkout flows, omnichannel capabilities, and unified data across your campus storefronts, student services portals, and retail operations.
  • Governance, security, and compliance at scale: Centralized administration and robust security controls help you manage access, permissions, and compliance across departments. Role-based access, audit trails, and governance policies ensure that student information, payment data, and campus analytics stay protected while empowering departments to operate efficiently.
  • Flexible growth for campus-wide adoption: Designed for educational institutions piloting new digital storefronts, campus store platforms, or student services portals, this step-up tier supports growth without sacrificing control. The tiered licensing model aligns with institutional purchasing programs, delivering predictable costs and streamlined administration as your e-commerce footprint expands.

Review usage regularly to stay within the 2,900 monthly transaction limit as campus needs evolve.

Frequently asked questions

  • Q: What does the 2,900 monthly transactions limit cover?

A: The license is structured to support up to 2,900 e-commerce transactions per month for the connected storefronts and channels. If activity approaches or exceeds this capacity, campuses should plan for scaling within the available tier or consider higher-tier options as appropriate through the EES program and Microsoft licensing guidelines.

  • Q: Can a single Dynamics 365 E‑Commerce Step-Up license serve multiple users?

A: Yes. Under the Education Enrollment for Education Solutions (EES) program, a single license can cover many users across departments, faculties, and student organizations, simplifying procurement and onboarding while preserving centralized control and governance.

  • Q: Is this a cloud-based licensing model?

A: The Dynamics 365 e‑Commerce suite is delivered as a cloud-based service in the Microsoft cloud. Licensing supports access to cloud-based storefronts, analytics, and commerce capabilities without on-premises installations, aligning with modern educational IT strategies.

  • Q: How does this integrate with other Dynamics 365 apps?

A: The Step-Up tier is designed to work within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem, enabling seamless integration with Dynamics 365 Commerce, Customer Insights, and related modules. This integration supports unified product data, customer profiles, analytics, and cross-channel commerce experiences for a cohesive campus storefront strategy.

  • Q: What about security and compliance?

A: The licensing approach emphasizes governance and security, providing centralized administration, role-based access control, and policy enforcement to protect student and payment data while enabling legitimate campus operations and analytics.

  • Q: How do I determine the right tier for my campus?

A: Start by assessing current monthly transaction volumes, the number of departments and users requiring access, and your planned expansion. The 2,900 transactions per month tier is designed for mid-to-large e‑commerce workloads, with scalable growth paths within the education licensing framework. Engage with your Microsoft licensing representative or Education Solutions partner to align purchasing with your campus growth projections.

  • Q: Does this license include implementation support?

A: Licensing typically covers access rights and platform capabilities; implementation support is often provided separately through your Microsoft partner or professional services. Confirm with your vendor or partner about available onboarding, customization, and training options.

  • Q: Can I pilot a new campus storefront with this license?

A: Yes. The tiered, education-focused licensing is well-suited for pilots, prototypes, and campus-wide rollouts. It supports testing new digital storefronts or student services portals while preserving governance and controlled access as you validate ROI and user adoption.

Very nice, LOUD toy
Style: Crocodile
My parents' dog had the shark version of this toy already, and I looked to see if there were any other versions of the same toy. I found this crocodile. This thing is hysterical when he plays with it. I think each squeaker makes a slightly different sound, so you can hear him switch from 1 part to another. This is not for you if you like quiet. It is very loud but our dog doesn't like toys that don't squeak. The shark has held up for along time, and the crocodile is doing well so far. He's pretty rough on his toys, but he hasn't torn these or broken the squeakers. The fabric is soft, and it's well sewn. There's no stuffing in the body or limbs, so small holes don't really matter. It's big enough for larger dogs (ours is 45lb). The price was very good for a large toy that's high quality.

It's holding up better than I thought it would
Style: Snake
*EDIT* I originally gave this toy a 1 star rating. I changed that to a 4. Even though my dog immediately put holes in it, it's still holding up. She absolutely loves her Snakey, and takes it to bed with her. She hasn't even chewed the eyes off, like she would normally do. There's even still a piece of the tongue left lol! I gave this to my dog tonight. She's already torn a hole in the tail. I just found a hole next to a squeaker, and she's almost chewed the tongue off. This toy is not durable at all. I do not recommend this for any dog that likes to chew.

Not recommended for an aggressive chewer.
Style: Crocodile, Style: Crocodile
24 hrs. after giving this to my Frenchton, all 3 squeakers were out and disabled, one foot remained, head was half way off, back end was chewed away. This alligator is no match for an aggressive chewer.
