Each of us carrying very heavy packs full of camera gear and camping equipment, we trudged through the deep snow. At about 11: 30 at night, and about 8 miles into the hike, we stopped and set up camp, but neither of us got any sleep in the freezing conditions. We got back up at 5am, and finished out the hike,

We got back up at 5am, and finished out the hike, making it to the lake minutes before a beautiful sunrise.
