An ebony fingerboard caps a remarkably comfortable slim C-shape neck, while a smooth neck transition and deep cutaway allow for easy access to higher frets. Additional premium features include Jescar fretwire, a custom D’Angelico Shield tremolo, and locking tuners from Grover. Custom DA-Trons from TV Jones are equal parts articulate and bold, offering a range of sounds from rich warmth to what Weir calls “the clang of cold steel”. And with a wiring configuration that allows players to isolate any coil across the set, the Bobby Weir 3 has no shortage of inspiring single-coil and blended tones.
