Refluxin, from Ecological Formulas, is a supplement presented in a box of 90 tablets designed to support digestive health. It contains several active constituents including magnesium, alginic acid, slippery elm bark, and licorice extract. Magnesium is known for its role in maintaining normal muscle and nerve function, while alginic acid may help manage gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Slippery elm bark and licorice extract are both traditionally used to soothe the gastrointestinal tract.
Each tablet contains 60 mg of magnesium, 500 mg of alginic acid, 100 mg of licorice (deglycyrrhizinated), and 100 mg of slippery elm bark. The suggested usage is to chew 1 or 2 tablets following meals or as needed, up to 12 tablets daily.
Refluxin does not contain any common allergens such as wheat, gluten, corn, soy, yeast, dairy products, fish, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, egg, ingredients derived from genetically modified organisms (GMOs), artificial colors, artificial sweeteners, or artificial preservatives.
