This time band is behind the wheel, self-producing with counsel and encouragement from tUne-Yards' Merrill Garbus. Lyrically, the band delivers a more mature, grounded, and self-aware album than ever before. Their storytelling is cathartic and relatable. Across twelve tracks, they examine themes of guilt, heartbreak, disappointment, frustration, yearning, and acceptance, effortlessly balancing lyrical sophistication and bluntness, like in "Death Dreams" when Perez plainly asserts "hate how you treat the air like you'll find your breath in it somewhere." Tonally, this album strays a bit from earlier releases. Drawing inspiration from Thao & The Get Down Stay Down, Sleater-Kinney, and tUne-Yards, the bands have officially leveled up in terms of sonic experimentation and eccentricity. From the blown-out wall of blistering guitars in "Ashes", to the trance-inducing ebb and flow of the rhythm section in "Sorry", to the spacious, angelic build-up of vocal, guitars, and percussion in "Holly", this offers up a plentiful spread of compelling tones and arrangements for listeners to lose themselves in. This album is not what long-time fans of The She's might expect-they've been through some stuff since their last release. Sonically raw, this is a vulnerable and honest depiction of who the band is now, boasting a new level of confidence and creativity in songwriting, storytelling, and musicianship, willing to let moments go unresolved and let loose ends hang with intention and certainty.

Discovered latex and thrilled

Bought a Beautyrest mattress in late 2021 that now is uncomfortable and has dips. Beautyrest would reject the 10 year warranty due to a single stain on mattress (based on their policy), so I didn't even bother. So, I pondered if I should order a new one and which one. In the process I found out latex toppers may save the day. Talatex medium firm mattress in queen size was received within a week and a half and installed on top of existing Beautyrest mattress. Since then, no pain in hips, no sweating at night, no neck problems. My daughter tested it one night with me, and since then wants to sleep on my bed and not hers, so this is really reviewed by two people. Excellent product!! Has a bounce but you don't sink in it (two mattresses ago, I had a 13" high end high density visco elastic memory foam mattress where sinking into it happened). When I can afford, I will buy a 4" latex topper firm and install that under the existing 2" Talatex medium firm over a slatted base. I'll do away completely w/ the mattress I'm using now.

Does not provide much pressure relief

It does keep you cooler/neutral. It needs to be a little denser. When you are on it, it goes pretty flat. It does help some but my hip needs a little more support that this offers. Be aware, the cover has a coating of fire retardant. We asked them to send one without the toxic chemicals. (Personal choice)

Forget about the memory foam!
Size: Twin 3 Inches
My sleep quality is fantastic on this thing, and I don’t even sweat like a memory foam cover! I was scared to spend the money but I’m glad I did! It’s really helped my back and overall pain, as it rises to fit the empty spaces left by flat firm mattresses.

Pretty Good

The product arrived at my street address instead of my PO Box address last minute - without me getting prior notice that it was to large to be delivered to post office. Not sure why the seller did not notify me and let me know what was happening. The quality of the latex topper itself is good, covering nice with a zipper to take off and wash. There was no smell after about 5 minutes of coming out of the packaging. I am using it as extra padding for a new mattress which is pretty firm. After sleeping on it last night it helped just enough - perhaps someone who needs a little more cushioning should get the 3" topper version.

Soft and comfortable.

The packaging was big and heavy and required 2 persons to move. The pad is soft and very comfortable. The latex had a bit of smell, but not too bad. Overall I am satisfied with the product.
