Shackleton works up a hypnotic group energy alongside avant-goddess Heather Leigh, percussionist Takumi Motokawa, and mallet player Raphael Meinhart in their debut as Tunes of Negation for Shapednoise's label; Cosmo Rhythmatic. Reach The Endless Sea is a heady blast of lysergic, chromatic color, and syncopated rhythms that partly imagines an alternative musical timeline where the Hawkwind and Ash Ra Tempel fans, proto-Humanoid types, and new age travelers who made up the UK's rave vanguard prevailed against the law to enact a freely psychedelic dance music. The album follows in the vein of Shackleton's previous trio of vocal-focused trips for Honest Jon's and his Woe To The Septic Heart! Label to find the mystic pied piper's spirit bolstered and tempered by a collaborative, multi-directional flow of energies. Gushing in five durational parts running between 10-15 minutes each - or long enough to draw listeners into their dilated temporality - the music comes in waves of pointed, timeless intensity, and illusory suggestion, subtly shifting pattern with an acid-dosed logic. Following her triumphant Throne LP in 2018 (EMEGO 257CD/LP), Heather Leigh provides sacral vocals to the canto couplet of "The World Is A Stage" and "Reach The Endless Sea", providing an elevated constant between it's moiré of possessed vibes and lilting rhythms, before the trio of instrumentalists take the reins on a mazy trajectory between the harmonic lather of "Tundra Erotic", through the sanguine meditation of "Nowhere Ending Sky", and an epic, 15-minute invocation of ancient Indian raga traditions and mountaintop kosmiche in "Ruckschlag Rising Then Resonant", before they all come down together in the Amazonian delta flow and oozing sprawl of "The Time Has Come". While no single description will sum up the potency and conviction of Tunes of Negation, their mission can be summed in a line from a poem by 13th C. mystic Jalalu'I-Din Rumi which inspired the album's title, stating that Reach The Endless Sea strives to "aid transmutation and enter into the light." Wonderful teething toys for small teeth!
We bought these for our new three chihuahua babes and they love them so much! For now, since the babies still get really cold, we just do them as is and are going to hold off on freezing them for a bit but it's still great! They love to chew on either end and the different textures of both the rag and the different ones on the bone itself, keep them really entertained.

Gumby is a hit!

The dogs LOVE their Gumby toys! Do I expect them to last long? Not with this dog. In fact, the dog pictured began chewing Gumby's arm off shortly after this photo and had to be redirected, given a chew, and the Amazon box to shred before trying Gumby again. However, if your dog is like my Boston and more gentle on soft toys then this toy will last a long time. Her Gumby remains fully intact and loved. So, if you're buying this, just know your dog's style of play and how they treat soft toys, then purchase with reasonable expectations. I knew my wild man would destroy this, he destroys the tough made stuffies, but he has fun doing it and you can't beat the $3 price.
Overall it's a cute toy at a good price. It's fun to play fetch with it in the house, but I wouldn't tug at it. Playing tug could rip it.

GREAT for small dogs!
Size: 6 inches - Plush Gumby
My Pekingese, Yuki, has tiny and shallow jaws. So, it’s tough to find toys she can hold, let alone squeak. But “Gumby” was a surprise, and a fast favorite.
The fur is pleasantly smooth, vs. dense. It seems to help. The front/back are somewhat flattened. That seems to help, too. The squeaker is strategically placed…. Thus, she can easily mouth the neck/head area, regardless of the arm placement to easily squeak away….
And what fun to twirl. I’ll grab an arm, and spin her in circles. It’s wonderfully stitched. Nary a worry about an arm coming off.
A truly quality toy…. Purchase for your wee one with confidence!

After a good scrub, the dogs love them!

These gumby toys are flexible rubber, and exactly what you'd expect for the price. I ordered three to replace two that had been gifts well loved by my dogs.
I read reviews mentioning smell, but wasn't really prepared for it when the package arrived. They all arrived zip tied to a paperboard backing. They all smelled like a fine fragrance designed for robots - like burning motor oil with floral undertones - and the zip ties were stained a sickly green wherever they touched Gumby. Initially, my dogs wanted nothing to do with them, even after a good scrub. I left them to air out in the shed for a few days and then ran them through the dishwasher (without cleanser!) and they were good to go.
My dogs love these toys. I know they're not going to last long! I know the arms will get yanked or chewed off first, and then the corner of Gumby's head will go missing. Eventually, his head will be ripped into tiny pieces and strewn about my living room. I know that, sooner or later (and probably sooner!), Gumby will be little more than a torso with weird square legs. And that's okay, because that means my dogs enjoyed the toy.
People complaining about a $7 flexible rubber toy not being appropriate for heavy chewers don't understand what dogs need, or what dog toys are for. Part of the satisfaction that chewing brings for dogs is also shredding. Dogs destroy stuff. Some more than others. It's what they do. No toy will last forever if it's used! But I have five dogs, including bully breeds and a Saint Bernard, plus two occasional visitors, and these toys have lasted longer than expected (even if their arms are off in minutes!)
The dogs in the pictures are 90 and 120 pounds, modeling both a well loved older Gumby and a brand new one.
