By: Stefano MancusoWith fun, fascinating vignettes, a renowned neurobiologist illuminates the interconnectedness of plant life and how we can learn from it to better plan our communities.
We animals account for a paltry 0.3% of the planet’s biomass while plants add up to 85%. And when, with just a little training, we are able to look at the world without seeing it solely as humanity’s playground, we cannot help but notice the ubiquity of plants. They are everywhere, and their stories are inevitably bound up with ours. As every tree in a forest is linked to all the others by an underground network of roots, uniting them to form a super organism, so plants constitute the nervous system, the plan that is the “greenprint” of our world. To ignore the existence of this plan is one of the most serious threats to the survival of our species.
In this latest book, the brilliant Stefano Mancuso is back to illuminate the greenprint of our world. He does it through unforgettable stories starring plants that combine an inimitable narrative style with remarkable scientific rigor, from the story of the red spruce that gave Stradivarius the wood for his fourteen violins, to the Kauri tree stump, kept alive for decades by the interconnected root system of nearby trees. From the mystery of the slipperiness of the banana skin to the plant that solved the “crime of the century,” the Lindbergh kidnapping, by way of wooden ladder rungs.

Nice room divider!
Color: Black
Looks great and has held up well so far (but we've been very careful with it). Not too heavy to move around when needed

Beautiful!
Color: Black, Color: Black
I share a very small apartment with my daughter so my bed is in the living area. This screen not only gives me privacy, but also makes me feel like I sleep in a Japanese lantern!
At night with the bedside lamp on it glows beautifully!
It’s fairly lightweight and came fully assembled.

Japanese-Style 4-Panel Screen Room Divider: Beautiful, But...
Color: Black, Color: Black
I really like this product, and would gladly recommend it. But there are a few things you want to know before buy:
Likes 👍👍👍
- Looks great! See photos I shared.
- Works as advertised: divides your space and provides privacy, with elegance and style.
- Lightweight: It is super light and easy to move around.
Dislikes 👎👎👎
- Flimsy: according to the dictionary, that means "light and easily damaged" 🧐
- Pricey: Anything is worth what you're willing to pay for it! But I think this should be $75 tops!
- Shaky: You need to position it just right, or it could tip over really easily. I had to reposition mine because it almost got blown by a floor fan! True story 😅
- Print is on one side only which will bother some of you. I'm a recovering OCD 😂
My Verdict 🧐
- Despite its shortcomings, I like this thing, and I would buy it again! 😅 It has character and really adds to your space. So, now that you know what you're getting, you can make up your own mind! I've already bought mine 😉 Happy shopping 😊
Hope my review has helped you make a more informed buying decision 👍😊👋

Cute backdrop for videos and room separation
Color: Black
Bought this because sometimes you need emotional boundaries AND physical ones. Surprisingly sturdy, looks nice on camera, and makes a room feel more peaceful instantly. Side note I have 2 cats and 2 large dogs and it has took a couple of beatings but did not damage at all!
