This painting is from a drive my husband and I took on Sauvie’s Island. Growing up, our street was lined with cherry trees. They bloomed every year right around my birthday and I have very strong, fond memories of these resplendent trees.

• I recommend framing this painting with a mat that has a 5”x7” opening – so, look for a frame that says 5”x7” mat, or 5”x7” art/photo. The interior dimensions of the frame itself will be larger. Framing with a 5”x7” mat will allow you to see the full painting and I like the “natural” edge of the painting.

• You can also choose a 4”x6” mat, but it will cover up a small portion of the painting and you won’t have the extra white space.
