XJ Cherokee ('84-01'), MJ Comanche ('85-'92) and ZJ Grand Cherokee ('93-'98)
Artec Industries is excited to announce the JK2TJ Front Axle Swap Kit. This heavy duty truss and bracket system is designed to take serious abuse and reinforce your entire axle while also providing the factory link, anti-sway bar, tracbar and shock locations. The 1/4" thick truss top incorporates a unique design to strengthen both the axle and incorporate the link brackets for ease of installation and added strength. By incorporating the link mounts into the truss, hours of work and trial and error can be avoided when compared to other bracket systems. Simply place the truss on the axle and all the other brackets fit into place exactly where they need to be.
The JK front D44â„¢ features: A high pinion differential, larger diameter ring gear than Dana 30â„¢, larger disc brakes, and a wider WMS for lowered Center-of-Gravity.
NOTE: The JK D44 axle has a different 5 lug bolt pattern than the factory axle so new wheels will be needed. It is also a wider axle so prepare for the WMS to be wider than your factory axles. Only to be used with our JK2TJ Rear Axle Swap Kit or equivalent.
NOTE: A new or modified tracbar will be needed as steering geometry and tracbar bracket location has changed. You cannot use a JK or TJ tracbar as they are offered, even aftermarket adjustable. The new tracbar will be shorter than factory style. This change is required to have proper suspension and steering geometry and eliminate bump steer. See the diagram below to note the location change for the new tracbar hole mount.
NOTE: This kit is a collection of different individual parts sold together. Not all pieces may be used and some slight modifications may be necessary depending on your vehicle.

NOTE: This kit requires general welding and fabrication skills. Welding should only be done by a competent welder. Artec Industries implies no guarantees or warranties and is not liable for improper installation.
* Some grinding and fitment may be required when installing this kit. Every axle varies slightly and some fabrication may be required.
** Some changes to factory positions have been altered. The Anti-sway bar bracket hole is 2.75" higher than factory hole to allow for clearance with steering. The UCA mounts on the JK axle are 5/8" wider on each side than the TJ mounts so a flexible joint on the UCA's is recommended.
*** In rare and extreme cases, the truss may come into contact with oil pan. Prior to operating the vehicle, remove the coil springs, cycle the suspension including full compression of both sides simultaneously and add bumpstop extensions to prevent damage to oil pan.

Comfy but ouch!

Nice style that keeps its shape, comfy insoles, true to size. I got the grey color at size 11. However the back part of the shoe ripped into my skin. I had to wear band aides after the first day of walking during our vacation. So wear sock that cover the back ankle. Otherwise, I like these shoes.

Very nice, but sizing is inconsistent

All of these Cole Haan shoes are extremely well made and I like the styling. On the other hand, the sizing is very inconsistent and you may end up having to do a lot of returns trying to find the right size. Then if you get a different color of it, you may find the sizing different yet again.
If you find your right zie, they are really nice shoes at a very reasonable price for the quality.

I love this brand. These shoes look and fit great!

I love wearing Cole Haan shoes. This is the second pair I’ve owned and the style just gets me. I’ve worn these to work at a great professional job every day, not just casual Friday. I wear these when I head out shopping or to dinner. They are functional, comfortable, built for regular and bigger wider feet and comfortable. I am 6 feet tall and my feet have changed size over the years to me needing a wider shoe to relieve pressure on my toes and front wide porting of my foot. So the 13W feels great and still walks the same as a regular 14 but more comfort for me. They look amazing and qualify in some offices as dress shoes (depending on company rules they will justify a sneaker as a shoe with the tan colored “gum” sole as a sneaker) so check company policy. The black sole on this makes it look more dressy. I am switching out the laces to match my previous Cole Haan because I think the white shoelaces look better. As an adult, aside from my Kenneth Cole boots Reaction boots and Doc Marten’s these are the only shoes I will pay 3 digits for. This looks like skater shoes but with a more mature look.

I am certainly glad I found them and finally ordered

A bit bulkier than my Stan Smiths Leather versions, but actually more comfortable.
They seem to be a bit "clunkier" looking than a streamline Stan Smith, but it's a matter of style. It works for a change of pace.
Gets or picks up dirt a bit, but cleans well, except the canvas part.
Has lasted almost 6-8 months with very little signs of wear.
Feels very secure in any type of weather or condition.
Great alternative or addition to having a pair of Stan Smiths.
