The SL6 requires a 17 in or larger wheel.
2. Spoke Clearance
The SL6 requires a minimum 82 mm spoke clearance.

Confirm year, make, model, trim, and front hub/spindle details at checkout so we cut the correct brackets.

Installation & Break-In
- Caliper mounting uses radial mount with vehicle-specific brackets.
- Brake line fittings are vehicle-specific; caliper-side and chassis-side vary by application.
- The SL6 front kit is designed to add front clamp force without forcing a rear-bias change on most platforms.
- New pads and rotors must be properly bedded to lay an even transfer layer on the rotor face.
- Skipping bedding-in causes vibration, uneven bite, and shortened pad life.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the SL6 fit under my factory 17-inch wheels?
The SL6 needs at least 82 mm of spoke clearance and a 17 in or larger wheel. Many factory and aftermarket 17s clear, but spoke shape and barrel profile matter. Send us your wheel make/model or a tracing and we'll confirm before you order.
Should I choose the 330 mm or 355 mm rotor?
Pick 330 mm for tighter wheel packages or lighter unsprung mass. Pick 355 mm when you want the largest swept area, more thermal headroom for repeated hard stops, and slower pad temperature rise on long descents or track days.
Do I need to upgrade the rear brakes too?
Not required. The SL6 front kit is designed to add front clamp force without forcing a rear-bias change on most platforms. If you do significant track use, a matched rear upgrade can rebalance the system, but the front kit can run as a standalone upgrade.
Will I need a different brake master cylinder?
In most street and fast-road applications, no. The 46.8 cm² total piston area is sized to work with stock master cylinders on most platforms. Hard track use with very aggressive pads may benefit from a larger master, but it is not required out of the box.
Is bedding-in required?
Yes. New pads and rotors must be properly bedded to lay an even transfer layer on the rotor face. Skipping this step causes vibration, uneven bite, and shortened pad life. We supply a bedding procedure with every kit.

Yes. Each kit ships with CNC carbon-steel brackets and braided line fittings matched to your declared vehicle. Confirm year, make, model, trim, and front hub/spindle details at checkout so we cut the correct brackets.

Good toy, just not their favorite
