The Sony ZV-1 is a 20.1MP premium camera specifically designed for vloggers and content creators. It features a 1.0-type stacked CMOS sensor (as found in the acclaimed Sony RX100 IV) and super-fast AF for high-quality images and 4K video. The 24-70mm zoom lens is perfect for both portraits and wide-angle shooting. The Image stabilisation helps to keep your photos and videos blur-free. It has an ergonomic, comfortable grip plus a 3-inch vari-angle LCD screen with a recording lamp, which makes selfie-shooting very easy.

The Sony ZV-1 includes a built-in 3-directional capsule mic with attachable wind shield for clear professional quality sound recording. Also featured on this camera is Sony's real-time Eye AF technology which locks on and tracks people's eyes, even when shooting 4K movies. Soft skin, natural skin tones and optimised brightness for faces effects are included and there is bokeh switch so you can easily get that lovely blurred background. There is a multi Interface Shoe for an external mic and 3.5mm jack if additional microphones need to be added.

Now it’s easy to simply select a professional-looking defocused background, or keep the entire scene in focus, with just the press of a button. The Sony ZV-1 is built to get great shots while you’re moving. With amazing image stabilisation, you can shoot smooth video when walking and, as the lighting changes shadow to sun, or outdoors to in, the automatic exposure (AE) tracks faces and makes sure they always appear well-lit.

You can capture clear vocals even when shooting in a crowd. The camera’s unique directional 3-capsule mic gathers clear sound from in front of the camera, ideal for movie shooting. The supplied wind screen reduces wind noise for worry-free outdoor shooting. As well as achieving premium sound quality, that also means you’ll spend less time re-shooting and editing footage affected by wind noise.

Time-lapse for that cinematic effect

Interval shooting mode automatically captures sequences of images from 1 – 60 seconds apart, from which cinematic time lapse videos can be created on a PC, where clouds flow past like water and whole days pass in seconds.
