There is a continuing theme in discovering the limitations that one's environment imposes on them, as well as, the limitations one imposes upon themselves. The sparse synthetic sounds of where he left off with Silk Flowers meets the odd and absurd humor of Soiled Mattress and The Springs; combining this with the punk aesthetics of his younger days in The Bad Form.
