The 1st Chair Low Profile Drum Throne is TAMA’s take on their classic 1st Chair seat, but redesigned to meet the positioning needs of drummers who prefer their thrones low. Such a change means two things: an improved seat and an improved base. The round-top seat takes on a lower profile itself, preserving the incredible comfort that the 1st Chair series is known for while reducing the throne’s bulk up top. The condensed base still boasts extra-sturdy and durable double-braced legs, but without the excess rise in its structure. As a result, the 1st Chair Low Profile Drum Throne offers a 5-inch height-adjustment range, starting at 15 inches and maxing out at 20 inches courtesy of a threaded rod and a fast-acting T-bolt system. That’s the lowest in the entire series! For shorter drummers, and those who prefer a more immersed seat behind the kit, we recommends the Low Profile Drum Throne from TAMA’s 1st Chair series!
