Coinciding with the brand’s 40th anniversary, PRS debuted a powerful pair of pickups that distill years of Paul’s and the PRS New Products Research Team’s hands-on research and innovative development. The DMO (Dynamic, Musical, Open) Treble and Bass humbucking pickups — mounted in the bridge and neck positions, respectively — capture years of boundary-pushing aural exploration. Pattern Thin neck profile

This Custom 24 has a set-in mahogany neck carved into PRS’s fan-favorite Pattern Thin profile, a contemporary version of the traditional Wide Thin neck. It has a comfortable nut width that perfectly fits any palm when playing in the first few frets. Play your way up the neck, and you’ll appreciate how it widens while maintaining the same depth. In fact, the Pattern Thin’s depth only increases by about a millimeter from the first fret to the 12th — how’s that for consistency?
