The palomino mare (PC Frenchmans Hayday x Miss Meter Jet) was bred and raised by Sherry’s parents on their Arizona ranch. Together, Sherry and Stingray clinched the 2010 World Champion title, and came back to win it again in 2013, where they set a National Finals Rodeo average record of 138. 15 seconds in 10 runs - an incredible feat that speaks to the mare’s amazing consistency. That same year Stingray was awarded the “Horse with the Most Heart” award, as voted by the world’s top 15 barrel racers. Now retired, her fans are eager to see what her offspring will achieve! As a way to give back to the Western community, Sherry created the Sherry Cervi Youth Championships in 2008. A barrel racing event held three times a year for kids ages 18 and under, Sherry makes it a point to meet every contestant and inspire the next generation of champions!
