Kick set of originals and covers (I just love covers, but sometimes an entire album of them can be a bit much for me), featuring songs that had originally been recorded by other artists at various times in the 20th century, mostly tunes from the 1960s of course...the Peawees recording the songs at various times and locations over the past 20 years... amazingly, the set sounds cohesive, featuring covers of Havana 3 A.M.'s 1990 "Reach the Rock," The Clash's 1979 "Lover's Rock," Love's 1967 "Alone Again Or," The Remains 1966 "Don't Look Back," Beatles' 1964 "I Should Have Known Better," The Crystals' 1963 "Da Doo Ron Ron," Dylan's 1962 "Baby, I'm in the Mood for You," Eddie Cochran's 1960 "Cut Across Shorty," and Johnny Burnette's 1956 "Midnight Train." Essential listen for fans. -- winch
A collection of B-sides, rarities and reinterpretations, it brings together material previously scattered across different phases of the band’s career. Rather than a loose compilation, it plays as a coherent record, moving between early cuts and more recent recordings, originals and covers, tracing the evolution of the band’s sound from raw garage punk to a tighter, groove-driven approach shaped by soul, R&B and classic rock’n’roll. More Scraps is part of The Peawees’ 30th anniversary box set Food For My Soul (1995–2025), and is also available here as a standalone release. A key part of the album is drawn from the Strepitoso Sessions with producer Brown Barcella, capturing the band in a stripped-back, performance-focused setting. Tracks like “Bleeding For You” and “Wild About You” lean into a darker, more controlled sound, while “Food For My Soul” returns in a fuller arrangement, driven by horns and dense, wall-of-sound textures. Reinterpretations such as “Da Doo Ron Ron”, “Alone Again Or” and “I Should Have Known Better” reflect the band’s ongoing dialogue with rock’n’roll history. As part of the Food For My Soul (1995–2025) box set and as a standalone release, More Scraps completes the picture, bringing together The Peawees’ past and present into a single, focused statement.

Great and solid chew toy for those "eager" chewers!

This is a winner! Especially if your dog is an aggressive chewer. My dog is a 30 lb on the outside but on the inside is a 200 lb tiger/bear who likes to gnaw/destroy everything.
I only wish I were joking. We've had this little toy for however long now and she goes to town on it and I don't have to worry like I do with other toys. Because no pieces are falling off or breaking off and she's a happy camper. And I'm a happy camper because I'm not all up in her gnawing business.
As you see in the picture this is the perfect size for her. I think she is a mini aussiedoodle but she's approximately 30 to 33 lb of pure energy, love, sloppy kisses, and aggressive chewing.
Best toy has its me money by not having to replace more shoes and chargers of all sizes. I think it's kind of cute and she is very protective of it. As I was taking pictures to post, she came to me, got it, trotted off, and you see the end results: her with the toy, protectively holding on to it.
She loves this thing and I'm about to order another one just to have just in case. I will mention it is heavy for its size. But unless you want to knock somebody out, I wouldn't recommend throwing it. At all.
I don't think any dog smaller than her could carry it around and I don't have a scale to weigh it but this is the perfect size for her.
This truly was the best chew toy I have gotten her in about a year, and I am not exaggerating.
We are huge fans!!!

good toy for heavy chewers

My dog loves this toy. It is tough and has a nice squeak. The only thing that bothers me a bit (it doesn't bother the dog) is the plastic tail gets rough with the chewing.

5 stars so far! My beefy boy is obsessed with this toy. He’s a TOUGH chewer. It fits perfectly in his mouth and it’s definitely tough! Feels thick & sturdy, has no weird smell. He loves the squeaker and he’s been (trying) to tear it up non stop since I gave it to him! Lol. He wore himself out. Definitely ordering more. Love the different animals !

Durable and fun toy

My granddog really likes this toy. He is a pit bull mix. The middle is where the squeaker is. Toy is hard plastic and he chewed on it a long time. No damage to toy! The only reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5 is how loud it is bouncing on wood floors. The toy I do recommend. Good size and bright blue color fish.

TRULY INDESTRUCTIBLE!!!

This toy is truly indestructible. I have purchased several toys over the past few months, all have been detroyed except for this one. It may not look as pretty now but it is still intact and still squeaks. I highly recommend for anyone with truly aggressive chewers.
