Following her successful debut collection Circle of Life, animal artist and sculptor Roxy Winterburn draws upon her childhood memories and inspirations in her 2022 collection Tsavo. This adorable bronze sculpture from the collection depicts a pangolin, also known as a 'scaly anteater', which rolls up into a ball when threatened!

Castle Fine Art will be donating a 'Pickles' sculpture to Fauna & Flora International, the world’s oldest international wildlife conservation organisation, to help raise money to save pangolins from the illegal wildlife trade. Roxy adds: “The poaching of wild animals in Africa is something that truly breaks my heart. The pangolin is the most trafficked mammal on the planet, and they are endangered. I hope that Pickles helps to raise awareness of the hardships these cute little animals face and raises some money for their cause.”

Named after one of the largest and oldest wildlife parks in Kenya, the Tsavo collection depicts a wild selection of African animals, from the iconic meerkat to the highly endangered pangolin. Cast in bronze, these gorgeous and adorable artworks will add a touch of the savanna to any space.

Each artwork is hand-cast in bronze and the fulfilment time is 12-16 weeks from date of order.
