Looking after your detoxification organs is one of the most important things you can do to enhance your health. Liver Detox Tea and Kidney Cleanse Tea work together to support your detoxification system. Liver Detox Tea helps your liver work efficiently, as it processes everything that you eat, drink and even breathe. Kidney Cleanse Tea helps your kidneys and bladder function at their optimal level, to remove wastes and excess fluid.

Take this Detox Duo for enhanced cleansing and flushing.

Ingredients
Birch leaf (Betula pendula) is an effective cleansing and re-mineralising plant. A prime plant for supporting fluid balance. Its high mineral and nutrient content help to cleanse uric acid and waste from tissue.
Calendula (Calendula officinalis) is a lymphatic cleanser, it enhances the detoxifying function of the liver and spleen. It helps heal internal wounds through improved blood flow to the affected area. It is particularly useful for supporting gastric comfort.
Dandelion root (Taraxacum officinale) has been used for centuries to support healthy liver function. Dandelion supports the flow of digestive juices and breaks down food for better absorption. Ideal for problems caused by a sluggish liver such as tiredness, irritability and skin problems.
Fennel seed (Foeniculum vulgare) is well-known as an effective digestive remedy, excellent in a detoxification regime. With alkalising properties, this plant supports digestive comfort.
Globe Artichoke (Cynara scolymus) promotes overall health due to its ability to support normal cholesterol, protect and support liver function, and bile production. It has a strong antioxidant activity that protects and regenerates liver cells.
Golden Rod (Solidago virgaurea) is considered one of the best kidney and urinary tract tonics. It is excellent for relieving waste accumulation due to a sluggish metabolism. Golden Rod helps to cleanse tissue.
Horsetail (Equisetum arvense) is a traditional plant with specific cleansing, fluid balancing and toning properties for the urinary system. It soothes the urinary tract.
Nettle (Urtica dioica) supports the body’s elimination organs (kidney, bladder, liver, pancreas, gallbladder) with a profound cleansing action on all types of tissue. Its abundant mineral and trace-mineral content helps to re-mineralise wasted cartilage and connective tissue, which is especially beneficial for joint mobility.
Peppermint (Mentha piperita) helps support digestive comfort including bloating, gas and queasiness. It stimulates and cleanses the liver and gallbladder.
Raspberry leaf (Rubus idaeus) is clinically studied to soothe and tone the mucous membranes of the kidneys and urinary tract. It helps strengthen the function of the bladder, kidneys and uterus.
St Mary’s Thistle (Silybum marianum) is a unique plant due to its ability to detoxify, protect and strengthen the liver. Beneficial as a daily detox but also for a range of health issues.

Easy Read with good case studies!!
Format: Paperback
I had to purchase this for my Advanced Pathophysiology class in my Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program. It is very easy to understand and have pretty good case studies. I like that the CD that accompanies the book goes into some detail in explaining the cases further and the disease processes without giving you the answers to the questions. It stimulates one to think!! Once this class is over I will go back from time to time to review!!

Helpful
Format: Paperback
This is a nice compliment to other classroom instruction materials. I am teaching an advanced pathophysiology course in a nurse practitioner program. This book is very helpful for students to put together the concepts of patho with the clinical setting. Will use these for in-class group assignments. Case-studies are thorough and offer a variety of different disease processes to choose from. It certainly does not offer a case study for every possible disease or clinical scenario, but does cover most major areas and enough variety in my opinion. Should be helpful in reinforcing the clinical significance of some difficult to understand concepts. I would recommend this text to course instructors.

Very helpful book for pathophysiology. The CD not only gives you answers to the case studies but gives you clear details of the clinical Pathophysiology of a particular disease. Definitely recommend it to students going for their Master's degree!

No Answers Provided to Case Studies
Format: Paperback
The cases are helpful; however, realize that there are NO answers whatsoever to the questions presented in the cases--not a huge problem I suppose, b/c you can google everything, but certainly an annoyance. (esp. when there are multiple possible answers. The author states in the foreword that some of the cases are real; in which case, why not provide the justification presented in the patient's chart as to why that patient takes a particular drug, esp. considering that you may take a drug for its side effects rather than its therapeutic effect. . .anyhow. . ) I think if the author provided at least SOME insight/guidance to the cases that it would be much more helpful, but until then, I'm skeptical as to why others gave this book 5 stars.
