Clutches by EBC Brakes

EBC Brakes makes Friction plates and Springs for almost all the bikes

The SKR Aramid kits also come with pressure plates, including the friction plates and springs

Standard CK Series:

Complete Engine sets of stack height controlled friction plates featuring the EBC unique alloy particle impregnated clutch facings that prevent burn up or slippage.

  • Perfect stack height
  • Optimized life and friction performance balance

 SRC Street Racer Clutch Set:

An aramid paper lined plate set complete with heavy duty clutch springs.

SRC kit is ideal for heavy sport bikes, faster riders and production based race use.

Advantages of the SRC aramid series are longer life, higher heat resistance, although this clutch has a more aggressive/faster take up than the CK cork series.

CKF Carbon Fiber Lined Clutch Plate Sets:

For years EBC clutches have been the preferred choice of riders who want their off road clutches to last and work.

CKF is the name of the new EBC carbon fiber impregnated clutches and they are built tough to last longer, grip better, feel better and drive better than stock cork based units.

PLUS the high heat ability of these CKF Carbon Fiber clutch plates handles much higher stresses and temperatures encountered in racing, yet feel gentle and smooth in everyday riding.

CSK Coil & Diaphragm Clutch Spring Kits:

Complete Engine sets of stack height controlled friction plates featuring the EBC unique alloy particle impregnated clutch facings that prevent burn up or slippage.

It is important to note that you cannot change the basic shape of these springs to gain any performance advantage but what you CAN do is buy an EBC Brakes CSK kit which has slightly thicker winding material and delivers 10 – 15% more clamp pressure.

  • This can help reduce clutch slip or fast clutch wear on your machine.

Clutch springs fall into two basic types:-

Coil springs

These are spiral wound springs using four to eight pieces per set, made from heat treated high carbon steel and come in various shapes and sizes, delivering differing spring tensions depending on the size of the bike and the horsepower of your engine.

Diaphragm Springs

These are dish shaped flat steel pressure rings and there are normally only one or two in a bikes engine

Note:- All springs get tired and should be replaced at every engine rebuild or clutch overhaul

Do not biy
Unfortunately this material is a great example of getting what you pay for. The fit is off and the material makes it so tacky.

When in a pinch, even Monaco couldn’t tell the difference.
Size: XX-Large, Color: Navy
Here’s the revised review with the updated final paragraph: --- **When in a pinch, even Monaco couldn’t tell the difference** There I was, stranded in the Swiss Alps, of all places, when an urgent call came through—a last-minute invite to a charity gala in Monaco. You can imagine my predicament. No tuxedo, no time to fly back to Dutchess County to retrieve the one I had custom-tailored in Sardinia by Fabrizio, the island’s finest (and only) tailor. Fabrizio’s tuxedo, you see, wasn’t just any suit. I had it made after a rather *unique* incident involving a chess tournament, a peculiar art heist, and the world’s finest pecorino cheese. But I digress. With no time to return to Dutchess County—or even Sardinia—there I was, frantically searching for something that wouldn’t make me look like an underdressed disaster among the crème de la crème. Amazon to the rescue. I stumbled upon this navy blue tuxedo with a black shawl collar and, in a state of mild desperation, ordered it around midnight. It arrived before I even woke up the next morning. Amazon’s overnight delivery, an absolute lifesaver. I put it on, and, to my surprise, the fit was near perfection—almost as if Fabrizio himself had secretly slipped his measurements to the manufacturer. The deep navy color was striking, and the black shawl collar gave just the right amount of contrast. It looked like a tuxedo far more expensive than the one I’d ordered in a slight state of panic. At the event, the tuxedo didn’t just blend in—it stood out. More than a few people took notice, including a former diplomat who, with raised eyebrows, asked if I’d had it custom-made in Milan. I simply smiled and let the mystery linger. The tux held its own through hours of mingling, dancing, and even a few strategic maneuvers to avoid the advances of a rather persistent heiress. And by the end of the night? Not a wrinkle to be found. Now, about the fit—be warned. It's tight. Very tight. If you decide to give this tux a try, order two or even three sizes up. And unless you have time to see a tailor, the trousers will almost certainly need hemming. In a real pinch, fabric tape will do the trick. But once you’ve got the sizing sorted, it’s all smooth sailing from there.

Tricky Fit
Size: 3X-Large, Color: Black
First order returned - pants fit, jacket & vest too small. Reordered a size up - pants too big, jacket & vest fit. The pants had to be hem and waistband taken in. And still need suspenders. My advice, give yourself enough time for alterations.
