To achieve this smaller product chassis, Yamaha developed the new GHC (Graded
Hammer Compact) keyboard (88 keys), which is built to uncompromising standards and offers the same weighted acoustic piano-like playing feel as the GHS (Graded Hammer Standard) keys used in previous models in the P Series.

UPGRADED PIANO SOUND
Yamaha is well known for the quality of it's pianos. Now, the P-225 features the sound of Yamaha's flagship CFX concert grand piano.
The P-225 incorporates a new speaker system that has been adjusted to replicate the sounds reflected from the soundboard and lid of an acoustic grand piano as closely as possible.
SMART PIANIST COMPATIBILITY
By linking the P-225 with Yamaha’s dedicated Smart Pianist digital piano app, you can access all of the piano’s features while also adding new possibilities for the player.
