Artemia Cysts (Brine Shrimp Eggs) are sourced from salt-rich ponds or saline lakes. The nauplii that emerge from these cysts offer one of nature's most nutritious options for small fish and shrimp.
Hatching Instructions:
- Select a clear plastic or glass container for smaller amounts. For larger volumes, a 10-55 gal. (38208 L) fiberglass tank is recommended.
- Utilize clean seawater or synthetic saltwater with a specific gravity ranging from 1.01 to 1.02.
- The ideal pH level is between 7.5 and 8.5. If needed, you can increase the pH by adding an alkaline solution made from soda ash or sodium sulfate.
- Ensure adequate aeration during the hatching process to keep all eggs suspended at all times.
- The best temperature for hatching is between 28-30°C.
