Personalised Siduri Santa Barbara Pinot Noir 14.5% 750ml

Whole cluster fermentations were employed judiciously to add earthy complexity to the dark, ripe flavors of the fruit. Destemmed fermentations showed pure and vibrant fruit almost instantly, making cellaring and blending the 2018 vintage a true joy.

Founded in 1994 by Adam Lee, an avid ‘pinotfile’, pursuing his dream to make wine. Siduri, Babylonian goddess of wine, specializes in cool-climate Pinot Noir and produces both single-vineyard and AVA-level wines from growing regions spanning from California's Santa Barbara county to Oregon's Willamette Valley. Sourced from highly sought-after growers and vineyards. Minimal intervention used to ensure winemaking expresses what happens in the vineyard. Unfiltered and unfined, maximizing the expression of these very diverse sites.

Variety: Pinot Noir
Region: Sonoma County, California USA
Winemaker: Adam Lee & Matt Revelette

Sweet story
Format: Hardcover
Gave to a 9 year old grandson who has struggled with reading -- looked like a good choice. He seemed initially pleased.

Older picture books have better stories and hand drawn illustrations
Format: Paperback
Fun to read aloud, old-school, easy read by Diane DeGroat about classroom friendships, honesty, kindness, and fixing mistakes. K-2nd grade will enjoy. So many of today’s children’s books lack depth, depend on dumb fart/poop jokes, are tied to tv shows/movies, or overfocus on moralizing and turning kids into little adults. Read for fun with your kids as often as you can! Check out children’s authors/illustrators from the 80’s and 90’s!

Entertaining and teaching book
Format: Paperback
I got this for Valentine’s Day for my 7 year-old grandson. I thought he’d enjoy the book as the title is funny, not “mushy.” He enjoyed reading the book to me, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a lesson on being kind.
