Set beginners up for success with the Yamaha YAS-26—a student alto saxophone that blends smooth playability, reliable intonation, and school-ready durability. Drawing from Yamaha’s pro and Custom designs, the YAS-26 features a removable neck with a sturdy receiver for long-term stability, post-to-body construction for quick response and lighter weight, and an improved low B–C# linkage that makes low-register transitions clean and consistent. Finished in gold lacquer over yellow brass, it projects a full, expressive tone that band directors love and students find easy to control.

Why students & directors choose the YAS-26

  • Easy to play, easy to grow with: Quick response and centered pitch help new players progress faster

  • Stable build: Removable neck + reinforced receiver withstand daily use and adjustments

  • Comfortable feel: Yamaha’s precise keywork encourages proper hand position and smooth technique

  • Clean low register: Improved low B–C# mechanism supports reliable low notes and better sealing

Functional, glass canister.
I like the design, I really like the fact that it’s glass, not plastic. Easy to extract the air out, I don’t have to do an extended work out to pump the valve, easy release. The only thing is the part when I need to open the unit to get my coffee beans out. All you need to do is just twist the lid, the glass container makes me a little nervous, but just grab from the bottom part to open it and it’s fine! I’m happy with it, I might buy again to store more coffee!! Great product though!!

Fits Sage Bambino Plus
Works flawlessly with Sage (Breville) Bambino Plus. It even comes with a straight basket which is an upgrade for the machine! People complaining about the magnets need to use their brains to turn first, pull second.

Magnets fell out. Everything else works well
Magnets holding the back piece fell out. Other than that it works as advertised.

Really Cool
This is actually a well made portafilter. It was such a good idea to be able to have a nice WDT tool built in that doesn’t take up some extra counter space or anything. It minimizes clutter and just was a good idea so you always have it handy. Definitely would recommend.

Fine basket, lousy magnets: Look elsewhere
Build is nice, solid and the baskets fit snuggly without being too hard to remove. The WDT tool works well and came with a surfeit of needles. HOWEVER The tiny magnets holding the WDT in the handle aren’t glued in place and now come FLYING out when the tool is removed. One or two pull free and then shoot across the unit, pulling others out and ending up somewhere in the kitchen. Fortunately (because they’re REALLY small), they form a small column making it somewhat easier to track down. But it’s such a nuisance I now leave the tool out, so there’s a small dangerous hedgehog of verrrry thin needles in my kitchen we need to work around. Sub-optimal, sorta defeats the purpose of in-handle tool.
