The bright f/1.8 maximum aperture excels in challenging lighting situations and provides more flexibility in determining the depth of field and where to place the focus. For the best focus control, the lens barrel includes a focus hold button and a custom function switch in addition to the Linear STM autofocus motor. The diaphragm with nine blades creates bokeh.
