• MK3 Amp Update—There are all-new amplifiers in the MK3 series. Total power has increased, and specifically, power allocated to woofers has increased substantially. The higher output voltages provide more impact. Universal input voltage compatibility of 90-250V provides more flexibility. Waterproof connections provide more peace of mind.
• MK3 Enhanced DSP—The MK3 features an all-new 96 kHz DSP. The push-button presets have doubled from 4 to 8, and up to 100 presets can now be stored in the DSP and loaded via LAN. The comprehensive suite of processing includes meticulously tuned equalization, all necessary high-pass and low-pass filters, as well as multiple protection systems and limiters to prevent driver overload in as many ways as possible.
• ControlBASS Software—ControlBASS software supports an essentially unlimited number of possible BASSBOSS-developed or customized user presets which integrate seamlessly and coherently with all other BASSBOSS products for effortlessly perfect setups. The latest in DSP programming developments can be added via easy remote updating.

• The cabinet is made from birch plywood, which is strong and solid, and the small size makes it veryportable. The small size is made possible by the use of a coaxial driver in a sealed enclosure. With the high-frequencies exiting coaxially through the center of the woofer, no extra space is required for the addition of a high-frequency horn.
• The low and midrange frequencies are produced by a high-sensitivity 12” cone woofer with a 3” voice coil and a neodymium magnet. The same magnet is used for the 3” diaphragm high-frequency compression driver, the 1.4” output of which passes through the woofer’s pole-piece. The inner surface of the pole-piece is machined into the shape of a horn. The woofer cone is the continuation of that horn, making it possible to generate very high output from a very small total surface area.
• The resulting coverage pattern is 80° conical, permitting a large coverage area and a great deal of placement options. A significant advantage of coaxial loudspeakers is the consistency of their off-axis response. Aside from delivering a more consistent and intelligible sound field, this also makes them much more resistant to feedback.

The amplifier features a Class-D SMPS with PFC, providing two channels, 900W LF and 300W HF. Eight onboard presets allow for a variety of configurations at the touch of a button, and LAN connectivity allows access to virtually unlimited preset combinations.

• Onboard presets provide a variety of high-pass filters to suit full-range operation through a variety of settings that maximize SPL when used with a subwoofer. The sealed enclosure provides the flexibility to choose between low-frequency extension or high-SPL operation from the same compact loudspeaker.
• The proprietary BASSBOSS processing ensures exceptional sound quality thanks to its premium quality, high-fidelity electronics. Its ultralow noise CODECS, 96 kHz sampling-rate processor and high-resolution amplification are some of the finest in the industry.

New to the MK3 are Neutrik powerCON True 1 are TOP (Total Outdoor Protection) waterproof connectors. Waterproof connectors and a totally isolated input connection section with waterproofed cones make the MK3 series able to be used outdoors without fear of what the weather will bring (or used indoors without fear of what the partiers bring).

• The new DSP features an Ethernet interface that can be used to control the cabinets from a computer or to load software or firmware updates. The Ethernet connectivity in conjunction with the DSP onboard allows signals to be sent via Milan AVB. Firmware updates will provide access to this feature.
• Within the software, multiple cabinets can be grouped together, allowing them to respond to commands simultaneously. This permits the levels of multiple loudspeakers to be adjusted together and yet independently from the levels of other groups of loudspeakers. In addition to individual and grouped level controls, presets can be loaded and signal levels and temperatures can be monitored. Each cabinet includes a two-port switch so multiple cabinets can be chained on the same data cable.
• The MK3 DSP features a storage capacity of up to 100 presets, eight of which can be accessed at the touch of a button, with no need for a connected computer. The eight directly accessible presets are compatible with all the presets in the MK3 Top Boxes and are also compatible with previous generation tops and subs.
