The particular fossil used in this ring is pink tone. This coloring is created by the minerals that slowly replaced the bone over millions of years. My only complaint is that they didn’t drill pilot holes in the wood planks, so screwing in the metal side pieces was a little annoying... I don’t think it would be possible without at least an electric screwdriver (or drill). Other than that, installing it was fine and now I love it so much. I’m tempted to get more for the other rooms in my apartment- it’s really the perfect shelf. It’s super multi-functional for organization/storage and decor + very affordable for the superior quality and appearance.
