This seasonal option was designed to capture all the flavor found in the Hatch Chile harvest season.  Hatch Chile is often used as a cheap buzzword to sell products that often don't actually taste like Hatch Chile.  Either they don't use enough chile, it isn't roasted properly, or it is jarred with ingredients that take away from the flavor of the chile.  If we're being honest, many jarred Hatch Chile products made in Hatch often leave a lot to be desired.

However, with our sauce, Hatch Chile isn't just an ingredient, it's THE ingredient.  We've attempted to compliment and prop up this beautiful, singular flavor with a short list of simple ingredients, with just enough spice that you feel it, but not enough that you won't put it on everything.  We truly believe that our Roasted Hatch Hot Sauce is the most authentic tasting Hatch Chile product on the market, and our customers agree with us.  We use a hot variant of Hatch Chile called Matador, which has the perfect heat profile for a hot sauce and carries the flavor of the roast all the way through to the end.  

All Hatch Chile used in our sauces is sourced directly from Hatch, New Mexico, from Adam's Produce.  We travel down to Hatch yearly to pick up van loads that we drive back to roast and make our sauce in Salt Lake City.
