Fitting the Boston
With no strap over the forefoot, Boston clogs can feel less secure than Birkenstock sandals. Many of our customers -- even many who take the Regular/Wide width in their sandals -- prefer their Bostons in a Narrow/Medium.

A common option is to go "up a size and narrow". After determining your Regular/Wide sandal size, go up one size and take a Narrow/Medium. For example, if your Birkenstock sandals are 38 Regular/Wide, you might feel very comfortable in a 39 Narrow/Medium Boston. (If your feet are genuinely wide, you should probably stick with the Regular/Wide width.)
