Musicians came and went within the circle of A Perfect Circle. On their second album (2003), the band's founders-Tool's singer Maynard Kennan and Tool's talented guitar tech Billy Howerdel-lead the way, with key contributions by guitarists Danny Lohner (Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie) and Troy Van Leeuwen (Queens of the Stone Age, Limp Bizkit, Mark Lanegan). Together, they created an intense, dark, intoxicating concoction of alternative metal, and it sure struck a chord, soaring to #2 and sending a series of intriguing tracks to rock radio. Sweet woodland characters attracted me. The cardinal is painted too dark around its eyes.

I gave this adorable ornament to a friend who loved it. However, I feel the eyes became rather "lost" in the "too dark" painting around its already dark eyes. It looked far better in the advertisement, imo. These figures are sweet as a set but the 3D ones are also pretty heavy in weight.

This review is for the actual 3D ornament. It was a good size (3-4”) and nicely made. Beware the cheap, knockoff flat ones. I had to comb through all the offerings carefully to make sure I was getting the real thing in the size I wanted.
