GoSports Range Cage Elite — 8'x8' Sim Enclosure with Impact Screen

The GoSports Range Cage Elite 8'x8' is a compact, all-in-one sim enclosure that combines a fixed powder-coated steel frame, full side and top netting, and a built-in 95" x 93" HD impact screen — sized for tight rooms, garage corners, and beginner sim builds where a 10'x8' enclosure won't fit. The offset high-density polyester screen catches drives and high-lofted shots while minimizing ricochet back at the golfer.

Pairs with any launch monitor and short-throw projector, and the 10 L x 8.5 H x 5 D ft frame fits a 9 ft ceiling room with room to swing. Right- or left-handed friendly, indoor or covered outdoor use.

Why First-Time Sim Builders Pick The Range Cage Elite 8'x8'

  • All-in-one enclosure — frame, side and top netting, plus a built-in 95" x 93" HD impact screen
  • Compact 10 L x 8.5 H x 5 D ft footprint — fits garage corners and tight rooms where a 10'x8' won't go
  • Fixed powder-coated steel frame — built for permanent setup, no daily teardown, no net sag over time
  • Offset impact screen — high-density woven polyester reduces ball ricochet back at the golfer
  • Universal compatibility — works with any major launch monitor and short-throw projector
  • 9 ft ceiling friendly — 8.5 ft frame height swings cleanly under a standard residential garage or basement ceiling
  • Right- or left-handed — symmetrical hitting area, no setup change between golfers
  • Ultra-durable netting — safely catches drives and high-lofted shots inside the cage

Where The 8'x8' Range Cage Elite Lives

The 8'x8' is the entry size in the Range Cage Elite enclosure line — built for first-time sim builders, single-car garage corners, finished basement nooks, and any room where a 10'x8' or larger enclosure footprint just won't fit. The 10-foot overall frame length and 5-foot depth tuck neatly against a sidewall, while the 8.5-foot frame height clears a standard 9-foot residential ceiling. Because the impact screen is built in, you don't need to source a separate screen, frame, and net kit — it's a complete enclosure in one box. Pair it with any launch monitor (a SkyTrak+, Garmin R10, FlightScope Mevo+, or similar), add a short-throw projector and a hitting mat, and you have a working sim bay in an afternoon.

GoSports Range Cage Elite 8'x8' — Common Questions

Does the Range Cage Elite 8'x8' come with the impact screen included?+
Yes — that's the whole point of the Elite line vs the standard Range Cage. The 8'x8' Elite ships as a complete enclosure: powder-coated steel frame, side and top netting, plus the 95 x 93 inch HD impact screen all in one box. You don't need to source a separate screen or DIY a mounting solution. Add a launch monitor, projector, and hitting mat, and you're set.
What size room do I need for the 8'x8' enclosure?+
The frame is 10 ft long x 8.5 ft tall x 5 ft deep, so plan for a room at least 10-11 feet wide, 6-7 feet deep (frame plus a few feet of swing room behind the hitting position), and a 9-foot minimum ceiling. The 8.5-foot frame height was chosen specifically to swing cleanly under a standard residential garage or basement ceiling — taller golfers with longer drivers should still confirm clearance before swinging full speed.
Will the impact screen handle driver shots?+
Yes. The 95 x 93 in screen is high-density woven polyester and is offset inside the frame so the netting and screen work together — mishits get caught by the side and top netting, and direct strikes hit the impact screen. The offset design also reduces ricochet back toward the golfer, which is the biggest safety concern with cheaper net-only setups.
Is this big enough for a full simulator setup, or only for hitting nets?+
It's a full sim enclosure. The built-in impact screen is the projection surface — pair it with any short-throw projector (mounted overhead or on a ceiling mount) and a launch monitor, and you get a full sim experience inside the cage. The 8 x 8 ft target area is on the smaller side compared to a 10'x8' or larger screen, which is the trade-off for fitting into tight rooms. If you have space for a 10'x8', go bigger; if you don't, the 8'x8' Elite is the right size.
Can left-handed and right-handed golfers both use it?+
Yes — the hitting area is symmetrical, so right- and left-handed golfers swing into the same target without any setup change. Great for households or buddy sessions where you swap sides between players.
Is it permanent or can I take it down between uses?+
It's designed for permanent setup. The fixed powder-coated steel frame is the reason the netting doesn't sag over time the way collapsible practice nets do. You can disassemble it if you move, but it's not built for daily teardown — most owners install it once and leave it up.

Received the package in good condition. This wire is a decent quality. I made a set of jumper cables with it and they work excellent.

bought twice to make custom UPS setup battery leads, not disappointed
Color: Black, Size: 25-Feet
bought this item(25ft 2awg) twice, the first time I did was to create some quick connect cables between my batteries and my distribution block to my 4kw invertor(24v 165a peak calculated load) I may have oversized due to knowing that the bigger you go the less you stress components and loose power to voltage drop these cables are a nice high-grade rubber jacket and the 30awg strands are ideal for maximum flexibility while remaining fairly easy to terminate this cable also includes a backer paper wrap that allows for easy stripping(of the rubber) without too much strand loss damage(from cutting too close to the core) overall, would buy again, like I did, if I need larger runs(say for feeding an RV solar AC distribution panel) I would buy this brand again, in the 100ft range or so THHN is not ideal for flex connections(strands are way too stiff) but a couple runs of welding cable like this inside something like "smurf tube" would be a perfect high-power temporary connection system, or just a way to isolate a large battery stack used for a solar setup in fact I may do that someday, set up a pallet of LiFePO4 batteries with a large quick connect, and just recharge the massive array(s) at a secondary location where solar is more ideal(or other renewables)

Custom wires for winch solenoid pack relocation.
Color: Black, Size: 25-Feet
Wire is nice. Flexible. Seems good. However the inner liner is not moisture blocking as I assumed from the pictures, it's paper.. still seems like a good price per foot.
