World Champ Christopher Blevins said it best, “This thing gives me everything I could want from a hardtail, plus the control and capability of full suspension.” All it took to create this speed machine was a totally integrated development approach, inventing a radical new shock, and four decades of off-road winning experience. FRAME OF REFERENCE: To deliver maximum speed through ruthlessly efficient power transfer and precision handling, our engineering team set and achieved new standards in torsional rigidity and BB stiffness. This feat required an integrated development approach that merged a structurally superior double diamond layout with its shock cradled inside the top-tube, and finished off with the most sophisticated composite layup in Specialized history. SHOCKINGLY FAST: The Specialized Ride Dynamics team conceived of and invented a revolutionary shock technology for the Epic World Cup that gives the rider the efficiency and snappy response of a hardtail PLUS the control, capability, and momentum-carrying of full suspension—all with a simple setup. Co-developed with RockShox, the SID Deluxe WCID shock utilizes a unique independently adjustable positive and negative air springs to deliver the sought-after hardtail “snap”; combined with terrain-devouring forgiveness, and the ability to easily personalize set-up for a specific course or tune for rider preference and feel. Set it firm and it rides like a hardtail or open it up and you have a chunk-squashing ripper. But you aren't just limited “open and closed;” the simple nature of its setup allows the rider to set on a spectrum of firm to soft. PUNCHING ABOVE ITS CATEGORY: The Epic World Cup’s 75mm of rear travel delivers control and capability of a much longer travel bike. Because it’s designed to be ridden at or close to topped-out, it yields the same positive travel as a 100mm travel bike set up with 25% sag. To further optimize suspension performance, the Specialized Ride Dynamics team tuned the spring-rate to be relatively flat through the mid-stroke to handle the majority of bump forces like a longer travel bike. Due to its large size, the custom Mega Jounce Bumper is an “industry first” and plays a crucial role in smoothly managing bottom-out on the biggest impacts. HAVE WE LOST OUR MINDS? The groundbreaking SIDLuxe WCID shock provides a unique blend of support and compliance in the rear, while the RockShox SID SL with 3-Position Race Day 2 damper borrows the all-new Epic 8s “Magic Middle” tune, providing support under pedaling and 110mm of bump-muting, active suspension in the rough to provide ultimate efficiency. THE WEIGHT IS OVER: With a frame weight of just 1,765 grams (painted with shock and all hardware), the Epic World Cup edges out the lightest of competitors. This translates to faster acceleration, more efficiently climbing, and more agile handling. And all of that adds up to speed. We achieved the featherweight and monster stiffness of the Epic WC by applying what we learned in the development of our Aethos, the lightest production road frame ever made, specifically the advanced composite layup and tube shapes. I am hard to please...especially expensive products...
K...So I have this 26 ft. sailboat. I have all the professional equipment you can use to restore fiberglass shine. However, a 15 year old sailboat's topside will usually have pitting that you COULD sand down and shine.. but this is a risky step as you think the gelcoat and if you go through, now you have an eyesore of an entirely different nature... My only problem with trying this was the idea that it would fade out shortly and possibly yellow. However, a bigger concern is continued breakdown of the glass surface. An over-riding concern. Wax on a surface that is pitted is usually short lasting and does shine well..good for 3 months, maybe. I bit the bullet and bought this after looking at it's competitors. BUY THE KIT, NOT JUST THE POLIGLOW. The cleaner worked better than any other I have bought. I don't know why. It just did. The scrubbing sponge is perfect for the job. I used a smaller dishwashing scrubber in tight spaces..it seriously was inadequate. This kit was made right, I'm thinking. Following the directions to apply per the bottle. I was skeptical about using a damp mit. I have done the entire cockpit area of the boat at this point with 6 coats and used maybe a half an inch of the product. And the boat looks absolutely AMAZING. Will this yellow? Will it last a year? IDK, but other reviews suggest positive experiences on both counts. Best of all, this will HALT the ongoing beating the topsides takes. (On another note, don't use this on nonskid. It's slick..just my opinion, maybe no more slick than new nonskid. But there is a really great product if you search "nonskid fiberglass surface restorer." Expensive but works.) Best description I can give you on how this will turn out is .. you know how good a surface that is aged looks when you wet it? That..but it stays. Yes, you will need 4-6 coats. But it dries very quickly and still doesn't use much product. At this performance level, the price was worth it. And I am frugal beyond belief. I would recommend that you do professionally buff any fiberglass surface with a good medium one step cutting compound and a professional buffer before you apply this to get best results. DO NOT USE THIS ON SURFACES THAT ALREADY ARE SHINY. It says so right on the kit. I also agree your smoothest outcome will come at room temp vs applying int the sun or significant heat. It dries quickly and doesn't even out as well before drying. Still, it will look great.

YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!
This is the best product I’ve ever used on our boat! We have a 26-year-old Tige wakeboard boat that had heavy oxidation and water spots. In addition to a heavily faded gel coat. I spent a few hours working on it and it completely restored our boat! I got the recommendation from my father in law after he used it on his RV. The results speak for themselves. I highly recommend this product!

Wish I Had Used This Sooner – Stop Debating and Just Buy It!
After a lot of debate, extensive research, and way too many hours spent buffing my RV with other products that never fully delivered the results I was after, I finally tried Poli Glow—and I am extremely happy I did. My only regret is not using it sooner instead of letting other people's opinions talk me out of it.
The difference in how my RV looks after applying Poli Glow is genuinely impressive. The high-gloss finish it lays down on the fiberglass is deep, clean, and long-lasting in a way that the other products I tried simply could not match. The application process with the included mitt is straightforward and far less labor-intensive than traditional buffing and polishing methods, which alone makes it worth switching to. The hydrophobic properties mean water beads and rolls off beautifully, and knowing the UV protection is working to shield the fiberglass from the relentless Las Vegas sun gives real peace of mind for long-term appearance and protection.
For anyone who has been going back and forth on whether to try Poli Glow or sticking with whatever you've been using—stop debating, stop listening to everyone else's opinion, and just try it. The results speak for themselves and I won't be using anything else on my RV going forward. Highest possible recommendation.
