A Penguin Hardcover Classic
This fully annotated volume collects three of Baum's fourteen Oz novels in which he developed his utopian vision and which garnered an immense and loyal following. The Wizard of Oz (1900) introduces Dorothy, who arrives from Kansas and meets the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, the Cowardly Lion, and a host of other characters. The Emerald City of Oz (1910) finds Dorothy, Aunt Em, and Uncle Henry coming to Oz just as the wicked Nome King is plotting to conquer its people. In Baum's final novel, Glinda of Oz (1920), Dorothy and Princess Ozma try to prevent a battle between the Skeezers and the Flatheads. Tapping into a deeply rooted desire in himself and his loyal readers to live in a peaceful country which values the sharing of talents and gifts, Baum's imaginative creation, like all great utopian literature, holds out the possibility for change. Baum's classics spawned many adaptations, including the 1939 Judy Garland-starring classic film The Wizard of Oz and Gregory McGuire's novel 1995 WICKED: THE LIFE AND TIMES OF THE WICKED WITH OF THE WEST, which was adapted into the second-highest grossing Broadway musical of all time Wicked (with a film version forthcoming in 2024 starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande). Also included is a selection of the original illustrations by W. W. Denslow and John R. Neill, a jacketed hardcover, and colored and printed endpapers.

My dogs fight over it

Easy to use, durable, and has a great battery love. At first my dogs were curious and unsure about it, now its become one of their favorite toys. They'll stare at it while its being charged and impatiently wait for it so they can have fun again. Perfect size for most breeds.

Haru LOVES this toy!
I recently purchased the Amazon Basics Hide and Seek Squeaky Dog Plush Toy, Rabbit and Carrot 5 Pack, and it has been an absolute hit with my dog Haru! This set has quickly become his favorite playtime activity, and it's easy to see why.
From the moment I introduced Haru to the plush toys, he was hooked! The rabbit and carrot design is not only adorable but also adds an element of excitement and curiosity for him. The toys' quality is impressive, with sturdy stitching that has held up well to Haru's enthusiastic play style.
The "hide and seek" aspect of the toys is brilliant. Each plush toy contains squeakers, which immediately captured Haru's attention. Great toy
Great size for a medium to large dog and a good value overall. The carrot foliage is made of felt and can tear easily, but the carrot body and bunnies have typical toy durability. The bunnies include squeakers that are softer and not high-pitched. The holes are sized well—small enough that the bunnies don’t fall out on their own. Even with only a few stuffed inside, they stay put until your dog pulls them out.

I was shocked by how much my daughter's puppy enjoyed this toy!
I've bought two of these — one for my grand puppy to use when she's at my house, and another for her to keep at her house. I was shocked that she actually seems to enjoy playing with this toy! She hunts out all the bunnies and then brings the carrot to me to refill. I refill it, and then she takes the refilled carrot back to her spot and hunts them all out again. If I can't find one of the bunnies (because it's gotten stuck in the couch cushion, for example), I ask her "where's the bunny?" and she helps me find it! This dog is a ferocious chewer but she doesn't chew these toys! It's like she instinctively knows they are for hunting, not chewing. As a result, they have lasted a long time and provide hours of quality fun. Great value!

My Iggies LOVE this toy. Buy it!!!!!
As a new dog mom to Italian greyhounds, I wasn’t sure if they’d like this, but it is their favorite toy!!!! They LOVE playing with the rabbits, chewing on them, squishing them, flinging them and chasing them. My one iggy likes to chew on the carrot and stick her nose in it when it’s empty. I find the rabbits around the house. So cute and seems to be well made. Definitely worth the cost.
