Always store and use your MaggieFrame away from such items and consult a physician if in doubt.
Will my embroidery machine automatically recognize this frame's size, or do I need to set it manually?
Most embroidery machines, including Ume UME801 and UME1201, do not automatically recognize third-party hoops. For your MaggieFrame 6.5″ × 6.5″ (165 × 165 mm) magnetic hoop, you will need to enter or adjust the hoop size manually in your machine's settings. Ensure your embroidery design fits properly within the actual stitching area to avoid misalignment or needle strikes.
When using this magnetic frame, should the stabilizer be placed inside the frame or 'floated' outside of it?
With the MaggieFrame magnetic hoop for Ume embroidery machines, both methods are possible. For most fabrics, sandwiching the stabilizer with the material inside the frame gives the best tension and results. For thick or delicate materials, floating the stabilizer beneath the bottom magnetic frame is a good option to prevent hoop marks while maintaining stability during embroidery.
