artist biography
Gerhard Wihlborg was born April 23, 1897 in Löderup, Kristianstad. He was a Swedish artist.

He first trained as a professional house painter in 1912 and then continued his studies in decorative painting for Filip Månsson at the Tekniska skolan in 1916.  During this time  his interest in fine art was awakened and as a preparation for higher art studies he studied at Althins målarskola (painting school) in 1917 before continuing his education at the Kungliga konsthögskolan (Royal Academy of Fine Arts) from 1917 to 1923. He was awarded the Chancellor's Medal in 1921. During his studies at the Academy he also participated in Axel Tallberg's etching school at the Konstakademin. After a study trip to Italy in 1921 he began exhibiting together with the Skåne Art Association but his breakthrough as an artist did not come until his own solo exhibition at Anderbergs art store in Malmö in 1923.

He has solo exhibitions in Malmö in 1923, 1939, 1941 and 1942, and in Ystad  in 1937, 1942, 1947 and 1958, and  in Landskrona and in Tomelilla 1951. He was a regular exhibitor in Skåne 's art association's salons in Malmö and as a member of the art association Aura in Lund, beginning in 1928 participated in almost all of the association's exhibitions in Lund, Malmö, Ystad, Trelleborg, Norrköping and Stockholm. He exhibited in The Swedish General Art Association's salons in Stockholm in 1919 and 1939. In 1965 he was awarded the Ystad Municipality Culture Prize.

Wihlborg is known for his still lifes, portraits and outdoor paintings, many of Österlen, a region located in southeastern Skåne, a province in southern Sweden, known for its beautiful natural environment, charming towns, and rich cultural history.

He created a number of public works including a large apse painting - Skolutflykt, in the auditorium of Ystad's higher general educational institution. Examples of Wihlborg’s work is in public collections including the Malmö Museum, Landskrona Museum, Kristianstad Museum, Ystad Art Museum, Trelleborg Museum, Skissernas Museum (Sketch Museum) and in Tomelilla Art Hall.

He passed away at the age 85 on November 4, 1982 in Ystad.

🦴 The Ultimate Distraction: A Must-Have for Power Chewers!
Flavor Name: Bacon, Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
Finding a chew toy that can withstand my 70-pound "House Hippo" (an expert-level destructor) for more than ten minutes felt impossible, until we discovered these stuffed shin bones. These treats are an absolute game-changer for long-lasting entertainment, durability, and distraction. Exceptional Durability and Value: The bone itself is thick, natural, and surprisingly sturdy. Unlike processed chews that crumble or get demolished instantly, these last for days of chewing. The value is tremendous because they provide two phases of entertainment: first, the intense effort of licking out the filling, and second, the satisfying work of chewing the bone itself afterward. Irresistible Appeal (Peanut Butter/Cheese Filling): The filling is the secret weapon! My dog goes absolutely wild for the flavor. The filling is firmly packed inside, which means he has to spend a significant amount of time actively working to get every last bit. This intense focus buys me hours of peace and quiet, which is invaluable. On top of that, they offer good nutrition! Less Mess, More Fun: I appreciate that these bones are relatively neat. They don't leave greasy residue all over the carpet like some marrow bones, and the durable exterior means minimal splintering (though, as with any bone, supervision is required). They satisfy my dog's natural chewing instinct while promoting dental health by scraping against his teeth as he works the chew. Final Verdict: If you have an aggressive chewer who needs a serious, long-lasting treat that is both entertaining and structurally sound, look no further. These stuffed bones deliver on their promise and are now a staple in our dog treat rotation!

Still Going Strong Months Later
Flavor Name: Bacon, Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
These stuffed chew bones have been amazing for my dogs. Even months later, they’re still happily chewing on them, and that says a lot since they’re aggressive chewers. The bacon and cheese filling keeps them interested, and the bones themselves are durable enough to handle their chewing without falling apart. After all this time, the chews are still holding up and my dogs love them every time. They keep my dogs busy, help with dental care, and are definitely worth having on hand for large dogs who love to chew. Durable, tasty, and long-lasting—can’t ask for more.

Long lasting
Flavor Name: Bacon, Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
These are the longest lasting bones I have ever purchased. But if you don't want a heavy bone that makes noise when dropped this is not for you. They go sliding across my floor as they are being tossed around and played with. But they love them and they have lasted for months. I am glad they are not as expensive as others. To many things are over priced. Dogs love them.

Arrived on time and as described
Flavor Name: Bacon, Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
It is perfect for my 120 lb dog. He did give up after 6 hours of trying to get the “stuffing” out. The bone held up to his chewing. He loved it!

Be Very Cautious!
Flavor Name: Bacon, Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
Splinters easily if you have an aggressive chewer! Although very tasty, within hours of a dog (lab/shepherd mix) I care for excitedly indulging in it, I was picking pieces he easily could have choked on (or worse). The large end of the bone splintered/cracked quicker than other bones he’s had which makes it very dangerous. Value for money is iffy due to that. Bone is a good price but not when it endangers the health of an animal. I gave it 3 stars because it had no smell, dog enjoyed the flavor, but definitely be cautious with this bone!
