The Drape Hook Pendants are a series of multi-pendant fixtures featuring diffusers of handblown Czech glass suspended from a single canopy and swagged to ceiling hooks (included). Available in 3-, 5-, 7-, and 9-Pendant versions. Each pendant is suspended on a fabric-wrapped electrical cord and features a 4.5"/110mm diameter spherical glass diffuser. The glass diffusers are available in both "dipped" glass, featuring the SkLO double-dipped flame-polished mouth and "textured" glass, featuring a soft, frosted finish and subtle sculpted vertical ridges. Cord lengths are field adjustable. Infinite compositions are possible.

Glass shaped by hand

The glass spheres of the Drape Hook Pendant are formed by hand, allowing them to be slightly imperfect to express their handmade origins. The "dipped" glass options feature an irregular, open mouth, created by double-dipping the piece into the molten glass crucible, followed by breaking the piece from the pipe and fire-polishing the opening - a purposeful expression of craft and the act of glassblowing. The "textured" glass diffusers have no opening. Their surface is frosted and features a subtle pattern of lines etched into the glass for a moody and classic look.

Infinite compositions

Perhaps the most flexible and customizable lighting design in the SkLO collections. The Drape Hook Pendants can accommodate limitations within spaces, and also accentuate features within beautiful architecture. If the location of an existing electrical box is not where light is wanted, the Drape Hook Pendants offer a beautiful solution. Arrange the pendants in rows to provide light over islands, dining tables, and bars. Compose in circles as a chandelier. Or let them go random and organic to add sculptural complexity to any space.

The Drape collection is an investigation into the potential behind the idea of a simple cord-suspended glass pendant that displays the quality and variation of SkLO handblown glass. It begins, necessarily, with the basic Drape Pendant itself. But from there, minimal additions are made - opportunities to enhance the structure, scale, and design of the diverse series comprising the Drape collection, including the Drape Circle, Drape Arm, Drape Skirt, and many more.
