What Populations Does Break Method Serve?

Emotional Repatterning with Break Method can be utilized for individuals, couples, teen and family systems in one-on-one or group therapy settings. Break Method is currently taught at the leading residential therapeutic boarding school for teen girls in the United States and integrated into the literature of SIRA, Self-Injury Recovery Anonymous. FAQ:

Is this certification accredited? Will I receive a CE?

Yes. We are accredited by the NASW. You will receive 15 CEs for each live session for 30 CEs total. 

What credentials do I need to register for certification?

Certification is open to all medical, mental health and paramedical professionals and current Break Method students or graduates with a passion for breaking the chains of generational trauma. While 90% of our current licensed practitioners are in the medical and mental health field, we have noticed over the last year that passionate Break Method graduates have equal capacity to change lives using this modality. Those operating in a Ministry function are also a fantastic fit for Break Method Certified Practitioner.

Do I have to attend the Live Graduation session In-Person?

YES. You will be required to attend the LIVE Graduation Session in order to receive your certificate. You have the flexibility to choose a graduation date that works best for you. You will not forfeit your training investment and your place will be held in the next graduation session to ensure you graduate and get to work as quickly as possible. 

How many hours per week will I need to set aside for course work during the online modules?

Lectures are all pre-recorded and can be watched at a pace that works for your learning style. You'll have approximately 12 weeks to complete the lecture series. Lectures typically last anywhere from 60-90 minutes. Be prepared to complete an additional 6-8 hours per week on workbook exercises and other at-home Break Method tools.

How is this different from other modalities I use in my practice or may have tried personally?

What if I'm not very tech savvy?

We have a support team on board to help you. With your certification registration, you get access to our administrator for tech support and questions, as well as a dedicated Client Support Specialist to help you with anything from site navigation to breaking through self-sabotage and scheduling roadblocks.

Will I be tested to graduate?

During the Live Graduation Session you will be required to give a Final Presentation, complete various analysis homework assignments and the Final Assessment test. Passing the test with a 90% or above is required for certification.  You can attempt your graduation requirement as many times as you'd like. 

What is covered by the Course Fee?

The course fee covers Full-access to all 4 Modules of the Break Method Online Program, 6 1:1 sessions with our founder to review your work, 120 hours of online learning, 3 days of LIVE in-person instruction, Practicum Clients review and feedback, 1:1 Zoom sessions as needed and the first year of your license fee.

Will I need to sign a license agreement to become a Break Method Certified Practitioner?

Yes. Our license agreement will be sent out immediately for you to review. You are able to cancel your agreement at any time. However, when you terminate your agreement with Break Method, you will no longer be able to utilize the tools, sequence, marketing materials, name or likeness or online marketing portal. At any time in the future, should you choose to reactivate, a predetermined amount will be due to reactivate your license.

Are there license fees associated with becoming a Break Method Certified Practitioner?

Yes. To license our technology platform we offer a tiered monthly payment structure. For up to 20 active clients monthly the price is $399/ month and the tiers increase up to Enterprise Level at $999/ month. Monthly technology suite licensing will begin upon graduation. 

Where do I fly in for training?

You will fly into GEG - Spokane International Airport. You will need to rent a car or book a Turo. The drive is approximately 75 minutes.

Refunds

Tuition payments are non-refundable but may be transferred to another party or service within the Break Method companies. All payment plans with Affirm are bound by the legal language in your Affirm agreement. All tuition payments including through Affirm are non-refundable.
