OverPower is a collectible card game (CCG) that was first introduced in 1995 by Fleer Corporation, initially featuring characters from Marvel Comics. Later expansions included characters from DC Comics and Image Comics. The game involves players forming teams of four superheroes or villains and competing against each other in a series of battles. The objective is to either knock out all of the opposing team’s characters or complete all of your mission cards.

In Lazarus Rising Games' modern revival of the classic card game, OverPower sees players assembling a team of 4 characters and building a custom deck containing associated Special cards for their team, numerical Power cards, and other tactical actions.

Each character possesses a "power grid" which defines their proficiency in the areas of Energy, Combat, Brute Force, and Intelligence -- represented by a numerical value from 1 - 8. Characters also have a Threat value which determines how many points they count towards for assembling a legal team less than or equal to the maximum point threshold. Some characters may also have Inherent Ability text which affords the character an additional, ongoing effect.

The game is played across shared rounds, where players draw 8 cards, encounter various Events which change the landscape of the impending battle, and can strategize by "placing" a number of cards to each of their characters as a way to save them for future battles and build card advantage. Battles consist of alternating actions between players, where the active player makes an attack from one of their characters to an opponent's character, using either cards from hand or placed cards. Attacks then open a response window for the opponent who can choose whether or not to defend the attack. Then, priority is passed to the next player who can make an attack or even concede the battle. A character can be knocked out of the game should they receive 20 or more points of damage, or hits with 3 or more of the 4 power types (Energy, Combat, Brute Force, Intelligence). At the end of the battle, the total value of successful attacks is calculated to determine the victor of the match.

A unique aspect of OverPower is the Venture system. Each round prior to the battle, players must wager a number of their 7 Mission cards, which function similar to poker chips, based on how confident they are that they'll win the upcoming battle. The winner of each battle, determined by how many successful points were scored by their team, then wins the number of Mission cards they wagered at the start of the round. Players can win the game either by knocking out all of their opponent's characters, or by successfully advancing all 7 of their Mission cards.

Great Fit for Wide Toes
Size: 5 Wide Big Kid, Color: Fuchsia
I should start by saying that these shoes were tested by an adult who happens to wear a child's size 5.5, ladies size 7.5 or 7W, and ordered a size 5W in the florescent pink. These shoes are way more comfortable than the other Saucony sneakers I own. The wide toe bed doesn't put any pressure on the outside of my feet and my pinky toes are loving the extra space. The insole is not removable in these shoes, but I found them to be comfortable enough without an extracurricular insole. I have only used these shoes for active days; running errands, doing chores, walking, but not for running or exercise. My adult feet and body found these shoes more suitable for walking, but for a younger person I would expect these to be great for exercise or daily wear. The color is super vibrant. I don't mind a bright shoe and I own a lot of colorful footwear, but these are shockingly pink. Then you combine that pink with the bright white sole, and it is borderline blinding. I have worn them a few times now and they definitely stand out. These would be a great option for a pink loving person, or someone looking for an eye catching shoe to punch up their wardrobe, but for me they're almost too much. These shoes are on par with my expectations for the brand, but I feel like they have an inflated price point, that most parents shopping for kids athletic shoes may struggle to justify. I know that finding shoes to accomidate wide feet can increase the price significantly, but I still think these shoes would be best purchased on sale.

Perfect girls tennis shoes
Size: 7 Wide Big Kid, Color: Fuchsia
These shoes have been great for my daughter! They’re lightweight, comfortable, and supportive enough for everyday running around, school, and sports activities. My daughter said they felt comfortable right away with no break in time needed. The bright pink color is really cute in person, and the shoes seem well made and durable so far. They fit true to size and have good cushioning without feeling bulky or heavy.

Stylish and comfortable
Size: 5 Wide Big Kid, Color: Fuchsia
I got these for my 9 year old who needed new sneakers. She loves all things pink and instantly loved the look of these shoes. They are extremely breathable which is great for running around and airing out those sweaty feet. The fact that they are wide is perfect for her as well; so many sneakers end up being narrow and confining. They fit great and look great and both mom and daughter are very happy with these!

Comfortable, durable, affordable...what more could you want? Lol
These fit well and were comfortable for my son...and they lasted until he outgrew them. That's saying a lot for a 9-10 year old boy. Lol. They are a great deal for active kids.
