Catalyzed by Hirsch’s exhibition also entitled Negative Space, which was held at SFU Gallery September 6-December 13, 2014, the publication is edited and introduced by Hirsch and contains seven conversations and two reprinted texts. Contributors range from artists to writers, theorists, psychoanalysts and anthropologists.
