The T'au Empire is amongst the most dynamic and determined powers in the 41st Millenium. Their technology is advanced and ever-improving, from grav-skimming gunships and artificial intelligence, to potent energy weapons and formidable battlesuits. Their territories expand with every victory, be it military or diplomatic. Yet the T'au Empire's greatest strength is its unifying philosophy – they believe it is their duty to spread the doctrine of the Greater Good to every corner and culture of this dark galaxy, and will let none stop them from bringing enlightenment to the stars.

Codex: T'au Empire is a vital guide for collecting and playing games with the T'au Empire and its alien allies in Warhammer 40,000. You'll find an absolute treasure trove of information to help you muster, paint, and command your armies – including rules for narrative Crusade campaigns, Combat Patrol skirmishes, and matched play games. There's also a stunning spread of painted miniatures, evocative artwork, and immersive background material to inspire you for the Greater Good.

Inside this 136-page hardback book, you'll find:
– Background material detailing the T'au Empire, including its rigid caste system, varied sept worlds, and meteoric expansion, as well its long-time allies amongst the Kroot
– Inspiring artwork that sheds light on the sleek aesthetic, complex technology, and alien auxiliaries of the T'au Empire
– 38 datasheets detailing the profiles, wargear, and unique abilities of every T'au Empire unit, from Stealth Battlesuits to savage Krootox Rampagers
– Four themed Detachments, including the Kauyon and Mont'ka metastrategies, as well as dedicated Kroot Hunting Packs, each with their own set of special rules
– Crusade rules to launch a Sphere Expansion of your own, as you assimilate new systems through diplomacy and conquest
– Combat Patrol rules and a painting guide for playing fast-paced games with the Sudden Dawn Cadre
– An 'Eavy Metal showcase of superbly-painted Citadel miniatures to inspire you, featuring different T'au septs and Kroot kindreds

This book also contains a one-use code to unlock Codex: T'au Empire content in Warhammer 40,000: The App.

Good manners book
Format: Paperback
Good anecdotes and lessons in this book. I wanted to get a book to read to my 4 year old. This book keeps her attention and she likes it. This book talks about many subjects: Proper etiquette for please, thank you, your welcome, being a good guest, helping out with parents, friends, teachers and neighbors, etc. It feels a little long and a lot foing on with each page, but overall a good quality book. Would buy again.

Fun Lessons
Format: Paperback
You can never go wrong with reading a Richard Scarry book. This book teaches manners to young children very well. My young granddaughter has started speaking in complete sentences, and she is using please and thank you. This book is a good introduction for using these words.

Fun way to learn good behavior!
Format: Paperback
Good value for the price, you get 7 short stories with this book & the illustrations are very well done. If your child's attention span can't handle the entire book you can still manage a few. Lots of funny action pictures to hold their interest, my 4 1/2 yr old son flips through the book on his own just to look at the pictures and they are descriptive enough to follow the story without reading the words. It's a favorite book to listen to because he is of age to get in trouble and to be held accountable, so he likes to see that he is not the only one. His favorite story is Pig Will and Pig Won't. Hint: Say "I won't" with an angry piggy snort! This cracks kids up, they will anticipate the words and snort along with you "I won't"! Sometimes works to change a defiant or lazy mood when I ask him to do something, I will ask "is my D. a pig will or pig won't today?".. helps to snort a little! Can't overuse it though..

too advanced for 18month old, but great book!
Format: Paperback
I love Richard Scarry! I bought this book for my 18 month old, who we are trying to teach to say please and thank you. Unfortunately this book is just way too advanced for her. It's full on stories rather than short pieces. I know, the suggested age was older but that is true for a lot of books that really can be enjoyed by younger tots. This one will be put away for at least another 6 months, and then kept on the shelf of "appropriate" but not in her board book box. However, I really like that she can now say "Lowly" :) Richard Scarry is one of my favorite authors/illustrators from childhood and I'm glad to have this book. It just is beyond the reach of my LO at this age.
