artist biography
Henning Olof Hultman was born 9 May 1890 in Ramnäs, Västmanland. He was was a Swedish artist.
Hultman studied periodically during the years 1911 to 1920 under renowned Swedish painter Carl Wilhelmson (1866-1928). Hultman had solo exhibitions in Karlskrona, Malmö, Ronneby, Västerås and Gävle. He regularly showed in group exhibitions with the Sveriges allmänna konstförening (Swedish General Art Association). Hultman is best known for his portraits, interiors, still lifes and landscapes from from Central and Southern Sweden in oil or watercolour.
He passed away on 10 March 1962 at the age of 71 in Uppsala.
