Parker Oboe is a true legato oboe library performed by Dr. Andrew Parker, Associate Professor of Oboe at the University of Texas.

Recorded at Orb Studios in Austin, Texas, our goal was to create a responsive, agile instrument that could handle a variety of exciting orchestral contexts without any keyswitching.

The Workhorse patch is the all-rounder; performed with a confident mezzo-forte dynamic. Fat Lead is Andrew playing the oboe at full chat – great when you need bite, attitude and soaring melodies. Emotional offers a lyrical performance at mezzo-piano while Delicate explores the very soft, ethereal side of the instrument.

We´ve also captured a variety of inhale breaths with subsequent "pre-attack" air/tonguing noises – really helps sell the performance when peppered in before/in-between phrases.

Dr. Andrew Parker is currently Associate Professor of Oboe at the University of Texas at Austin and faculty at the Round Top Festival Institute. In addition to his teaching, Andrew maintains a rich performing career as a soloist and chamber musician. He has performed concerti with numerous orchestras including the Quad City Symphony, the Dallas Wind Symphony, the Great Falls Symphony, the Puerto Rico Philharmonic, the University of Iowa Chamber Orchestra, and the University of Texas Symphony Orchestra.

His solo album, The Singing Oboe, was featured as CD of the week for two consecutive weeks on the Boston classical station 99.5 WCRB. Andrew has been principal oboe of the Quad City Symphony for fourteen seasons.

In addition to his position with the Quad City Symphony, Andrew plays English horn at Music in the Mountains and has performed with numerous other orchestras including the National Arts Center Orchestra, the Florida Orchestra, the Orquesta Sinfonica de Mineria, the New Mexico Symphony, and many others. He has also performed in a wide variety of chamber music settings at various international festivals including FEMUSC in Brazil, the Aspen Music Festival, ChatterABQ, Willy Street Chamber Players, Austin Chamber Music Center, The Sarasota Music Festival, Round Top Festival, Music in the Mountains, and Kinhaven Music School.

Source Naturals Melatonin is the best!
My husband and I have been using Source Naturals Melatonin for almost 25 years. I have tried a few other brands, and I definitely think Source Naturals is the best! I once saw a program on Discovery channel about how Melatonin is an important heart antioxidant, and that after age 40 the Melatonin in our system goes way down. We had also just moved to a high altitude town, and I was having great difficulty sleeping because of the high altitude. We started taking Source Naturals Melatonin, and I was able to sleep like a baby. I really recommend the time release especially, and we also take a 1 mg sublingual lozenge to fall asleep more quickly.

surprised!
I actually didn't realize I had ordered "time released" version. I thought these were just normal melatonin. But now that I've tried these, I love them so much better than the regular version! Helps me sleep better through the night. No taste, love this brand of Source Naturals.

The only one I'll use!
As the title says, this is the brand to get!! It's fast-acting, doesn't give me weird dreams like some do, and I never wake up feeling groggy.

Works wonders
I've been buying these for well over a year now as Subscribe and Save. I work 12 hour overnights as a nurse. My sleep schedule normally gets messed up. I would have no problem falling asleep but would wake up only a few hours later which is not good when you have work again that night. We buy these on Amazon due to the great price and the fact that they are extended release which helps keep me asleep longer. When I take 1 or 2 of them, I am able to sleep about 7-8 hours which is great. I take this both when I sleep during the day and sleep during the night. It helps me sleep no matter when and I am able to adjust my sleep schedule often. I have recommended them to many.

Works quite well, dose still a bit high for me
Used to take the Natrol 5mg slow release, now that I can compare these 2, I love this more. It doesn't make me feel too edgy, it's quite relaxing actually. I still have to halve the dose as the full dose makes me groggy the next day. Where the Natrol gave me very vivid, but not unpleasant dreams, these don't make me dream as vividly. It does take a bit longer to get me to sleep, but once asleep, your asleep. Highly recommend, once I finish this bottle, I'd get the 2mg tr next time, as a lower dose works better for me.
