The Valdrome company, founded in 1946, is synonym of authentic and high quality traditional Provence fabrics. Those fabrics appeared in the 18th century, they mix oriental art (Indiennes or Toiles des Indes), bright colors and floral patterns and now are the symbol of the South of France.  

Valdrome prides itself in keeping alive the Indian tradition, and only utilizes high quality materials : pure mercerized cotton, and top quality water resistant color dyes. The basic traditional colors of Provence fabrics are red, blue and yellow. The new Valdrome collection has opened the color palette.

If your dog pulls on these (and why wouldn’t he?), the rope immediately comes out. Turns out they just fuse the ends of the nylon rope together, which is no match for a dog playing tug. Any dog, any level of pulling will dismantle these. We’ve managed to reinsert the rope to a couple of these and KNOT it, which gives you a shorter rope but a toy that can withstand some play. But if I had wanted a DIY toy, I’d have used the balls and rope I already own.
