Hand dyed on a base of pure Falkland wool, this yarn is so squishy and next to the skin soft, perfect for a sweater or cardigan. Falkland wool is the largest form of agriculture on the Falkland islands for over 170 years. Completely free of Organo-Phosphate and Synthetic Pyrethroid sheep dip residues (No sheep dipping is undertaken by Falkland Island farmers) it is naturally organic.
No mulesing takes place. There are over 80 sheep farms on the islands, as they bring in new Merino stock it is creating a finer wool every year. You might be able to tell it is one of my favourites to work with!
