The MA888 digital Ethylene and Glycol refractometer measures the refractive index to determine the % volume and freezing point of ethylene glycol-based coolants or antifreeze. It is ideal for those in the cooling/boiling tower or antifreeze recycling professions.
The refractometer is temperature compensated with a 0 to 100 % volume / 0 to -50°C (32 to -58°F) freezing point / Temperature 0 to 80°C (32 to 176°F) range and ±0.2 volume / ±0.5°C (±1°F) freezing point accuracy.
It is easy to use with simple two button operation and fast with a response time under 2 seconds. Maintenance is also a breeze with an easy-to-clean sealed flint glass prism and stainless steel well.
