artist biography
Gösta David Larsson was born November 28, 1912 in Gothenburg. He was a Swedish print maker and painter.

Larsson studied art at the Slöjdföreningens school in Gothenburg from 1947 to 1949. Following this he studied print making with Harald Sallberg and Emil Johanson-Thor in Stockholm from 1950 to 1951, and then took further studies in print making in Rome and Florence.

He participated in a number of group exhibitions, including Konst i det fria (Art in the Open Air), which was shown in Stockholm in 1954. He was represented in an exhibition of Swedish graphics which was shown in Havana in 1955, and participated in the Göteborgs konstförenings Gothenburg Art Association's Decemberutställningar (December exhibition) at the Gothenburg Art Gallery.

At the FIB competition for print makers he shared the first prize for the best Stockholm themed work with Reinhold Ljunggren with his aquatint ‘Port mot Hötorget’. Together with Torsten Waldemarsson, he established a copper printing company in Gothenburg in 1952 that carried out fine art printing for artists. His art consists of landscapes, often from Italy, figurative and still life works in a variety of mediums including woodcuts, etchings and watercolours.

Larsson is represented in a number of public collections including the Moderna Museet in Stockholm.

He passed away at the age of 65 on February 25, 1978 in Gothenburg.

Toddler sandals
Size: 8 Toddler, Color: Tan River Gem, Size: 8 Toddler, Color: Tan River Gem
Overall, these shoes are great for keeping near the back door and having shoes to throw on when my son wants to play outside. However, I would not necessarily have these be every day shoes as they don't feel as durable as some of his other sandals. The bottom of the shoes don't have a lot of grip, so I would caution against using these as water shoes. They are very adjustable and flexible though. And for the price, these are great "let's go outside" shoes. I like the color and function of these shoes, and my son doesn't seem uncomfortable in them. My biggest gripe is how large a size 8 is. They seem very big for a toddler size 8. I put some earbuds next to them for a size comparison in case you're like me and order true to size. You may want to size down for these. Other than that, these do the job for the price point.

Way too big
Size: 6-9 Months Infant, Color: Mariposa White Leather
Adorable but sizing is WAY off. These are massive and look like toddler shoes on our (tall and bigger footed) 7 month old.

Cute but flimsy soles
Size: 9-12 Months Infant, Color: Mariposa Light Pink Leather, Size: 9-12 Months Infant, Color: Mariposa Light Pink Leather
I wanted to love these because they're the few leather options out there. Unfortunately, the soles are made of a flimsy material that came apart after less than 2 weeks of wear. Not sure how long they'll last...
