Designed for professional A/V deployments, the Middle Atlantic RK14 is a rugged yet refined rack cabinet that brings order, accessibility, and reliability to your equipment room. This 14U RK Series rack provides substantial space for mixers, patch panels, power distribution, small signal processors, and other AV components, all inside a durable steel frame with a sophisticated black wood-grain finish. Built to endure demanding environments, the RK14 blends functionality with a clean, studio-ready aesthetic that fits both commercial facilities and home theater or control room setups. Whether you’re refurbishing an existing rack or building a new AV rack from the ground up, the RK14 delivers straightforward mounting, efficient cable management, and quick access to gear when you need it most. - 14U rack height offers ample space for multiple AV components while maintaining a compact footprint in a busy rack room or studio.
- 15.41" rack depth is designed to accommodate a wide range of AV gear, from compact video processors to larger controller units, with space left for neat cable routing.
- Black wood-grain finish on a sturdy steel cabinet gives a professional, understated look that blends seamlessly with other equipment racks and office environments.
- 200 lb maximum weight capacity ensures reliable, secure mounting for hardware while maintaining structural integrity over time.
- The RK14 emphasizes organization and accessibility, supporting efficient mounting, quick item retrieval, and clearer cable management for ongoing maintenance and upgrades. The RK14 stands out for its combination of durability and practical design. In environments where equipment needs to be accessible for routine maintenance, frequent swaps, or routine reconfiguration, this rack cabinet delivers. Its steel construction resists bending and flex under load, while the black wood-grain finish provides a refined appearance that doesn’t shout for attention yet projects a sense of professionalism. The 14U space is generous enough for a well-balanced configuration of peripherals, yet compact enough to maximize usable room in a studio or control area. This balance of capacity and footprint makes the RK14 an attractive choice for both small broadcast setups and more extensive AV installations that require dependable rack mounting with straightforward access. For technicians and system integrators, the RK14 simplifies device organization. The rack frame is designed to accommodate standard AV equipment with clear rack rails and alignment that help ensure components sit squarely and securely. With the RK14, you can plan a logical equipment layout—placing critical processors and power distribution closer to the front for ease of access, while less frequently serviced items find a home toward the rear. The result is a cleaner, more navigable workspace that reduces the time spent searching for cables or devices during routine testing, maintenance, or upgrades. When equipment needs to be swapped, the robust steel frame and 14U space make removal and reinstallation straightforward, minimizing downtime and keeping projects on track. The visual appeal of the RK14 should not be underestimated. In addition to its practical utility, the black wood-grain finish complements a broad range of interior decors—from corporate AV rooms to home studios. The finish helps disguise smudges and minor scuffs, maintaining a professional appearance even after frequent access. The combination of steel durability and a tasteful exterior means the RK14 can withstand daily handling and the inevitable bumps that come with busy rack rooms, all while preserving a tidy, organized presentation of components. Engineered for versatility, the RK14 is well-suited for a wide spectrum of AV applications. The 14U capacity provides space for a typical set of devices used in many installations, including media players, audio processors, small mixers, compact distribution amplifiers, and patch panels. The 15.41" depth ensures compatibility with mid-depth equipment, allowing professional installers to maintain ample room for cabling and airflow without encroaching on the front or rear spaces. In environments where equipment must be accessible for quick changes or routine service, the RK14’s design prioritizes both ease of use and secure mounting. It’s a practical choice for studio racks, church sound systems, school media centers, corporate conference rooms, and home theater setups where a clean, professional rack is part of the overall presentation. In terms of value, the RK14 offers a compelling blend of capacity, durability, and aesthetics. The 14U space is a common sweet spot for many AV setups, delivering sufficient room for essential gear without turning the rack into a cavernous enclosure. The 200 lb weight limit provides confidence that properly distributed loads won’t compromise the cabinet’s structure. The wood-grain finish adds a touch of sophistication that can harmonize with existing furniture and cabinetry in many facilities, while the steel construction ensures long-term resilience against daily use, vibration, and the occasional impact from cables and hardware. For teams balancing performance with budget, the RK14’s combination of space, strength, and appearance makes it a practical investment that can adapt to evolving equipment needs and upgrade paths. When you’re selecting a rack for A/V equipment, the ability to adapt to future gear is key. The RK14’s 14U capacity makes it a flexible foundation for expanding your rack with new processors, servers, or distribution devices, while the 15.41" depth can comfortably accommodate deeper devices and modular components that you might add later. The durable finish not only protects the cabinet but also ensures it remains visually unobtrusive in shared workspaces, recording studios, or residential media rooms. This compatibility with a broad range of devices and configurations makes the RK14 a smart, scalable choice for professionals who value both performance and a clean, professional presentation of their equipment. - 14U rack height enables a balanced, scalable arrangement of devices without overfilling the cabinet.
- 15.41" depth supports a wide variety of AV equipment while leaving room for proper cable management.
- Black wood-grain finish provides a polished look that blends with most interiors and professional environments.

Good product. Real wood. Sturdy wall anchor.
Size: 16.5 Inch, Color: Black
4.5 stars. It's a great product. The pictures made me wonder if this was wood or plastic, but it is definitely wood. It is very attractive and fairly easy to assemble. I feel like the harnesses for the wall don't fit the wood well enough, so you can get different distances from the wall, and one of my shelves is half a centimeter below the others, even though I lined it up the same. But they are sturdy shelves and very pretty.
My only real complaint is the screw anchors for the walls. They are SERIOUS. I doubt these will ever fall out of the wall, for real. The only problem is, they eat the wall as you are putting them in. If I ever decide to move these, I will have to do some serious dry wall repair.

Easy to install
Size: 16.5 Inch, Color: White
I bought these for my step daughter for her birthday. I installed them on about 45 minutes. Theyre small and decorative. They're nice to store light weight knick knacks on.

Simple, sturdy, and looks great in the room
Size: 16.5 Inch, Color: Rustic Brown
I bought this farmhouse shelf for our bedroom because I needed extra storage that would not make the space feel cramped. After using it for a few weeks, I can say it fits the room really well and does exactly what I hoped it would.
The rustic brown color is warm without looking orange or overly dark. It has that farmhouse style but still feels clean and modern. It blends nicely with neutral furniture and does not look cheap or overly distressed.
Assembly took me about thirty minutes. The instructions were easy to follow and all the hardware was included. Once everything was tightened, the shelf felt stable and did not wobble. I made sure to assemble it on a flat surface and tighten the screws evenly, which helped keep it level.
Right now I am using it for books, a small plant, framed photos, and a storage basket. It handles normal household items without any sagging. I would not overload it with very heavy textbooks on every shelf, but for everyday use in a bedroom or living room, it feels solid.
One thing I really like is the size. It gives you good vertical storage without taking up too much floor space. It works especially well in smaller rooms or apartments where you want storage but do not want bulky furniture.
If using it in a bathroom, I would just be mindful of humidity over time since the shelves appear to be engineered wood with a laminate finish. For towels and lightweight storage bins, it should work well.
Overall, this is a practical and good looking shelf. It is not high end furniture, but it does not feel flimsy either. For the price, I would buy it again.

Great for the price you pay
Size: 16.5 Inch, Color: Rustic Brown, Size: 16.5 Inch, Color: Rustic Brown
Great shelves for the price you pay. They look good and seem to have good stability so far; we’ll see if anything falls on heads. I put a 6 pack of each up in my son’s rooms and they have all kinds of stuff from katanas to books to knick knacks on them. The shelves aren’t finished so they can leave slivers and might be harder to clean with just a cloth. They came with 6 pieces of wood, not pre-drilled or with any marks for holes, a pack of pretty tough brackets, and all mounting hardware. We used a level, hammer, stud finder, tape measure, the provided wall anchors, long and short screws, pencil, 13/64 drill bit, Phillips head bit, and drill. These helped save space and get rid of some of their clutter.

Not the best.
Size: 16.5 Inch, Color: Rustic Brown, Size: 16.5 Inch, Color: Rustic Brown
The wood style is burned wood without any sealant. I would have given a better rating but some of the shelving was bowed which makes it not look as appealing. Pretty easy to install. Definitely will need your impact. I can’t imagine trying to do that with a hand held screwdriver.
With the wood being bent the quality isn’t what I would want it to be. It can hold a decent amount of weight. But certainly not made for books. Even with wall anchors.
It gives you the option to hang it as shown in its picture or the other way where the supports are flipped.
