Life’s fast pace leaves little room for reflection and attention to the present moment. To seek relief from stress and pain, we often turn to consuming in order to forget our suffering, but we soon find that material wealth is not enough to bring true happiness, and always leaves us searching for something more. The Energy of Prayer shows how prayer and meditation can offer a beneficial way to reconnect with ourselves while satisfying the basic human need to make a connection with something larger than our everyday self. Whether used as a daily practice, during times of crisis, or to express gratitude prayer serves many functions, and does not need to be tied to a particular religious or spiritual affiliation to be effective.
Prayer has played an increasing role in the practice that Thich Nhat Hanh offers to his students. Rather than viewing it as dogmatic obligation, Buddhism views prayer as a form of energy, a way of communicating with one's higher self, one's ancestors, or one’s God. Prayer is redefined not as being about asking some external force for what we need but about creating an internal environment in which it is easier to manifest positive outcomes in our lives.
The Energy of Prayer includes visualization and breathing exercises and concludes with a rich sampling of a broad range of prayers, chants and invocations from the Buddhist tradition.

It works very well.
I recommend this cream for eczema. I had several spots on my body so I would slather it on and with in 1 month the spots on my body were gone. BUT the spots on my scalp have not gone as it is hard to put this on your hair/ scalp every time it itches. So this has been an ongoing problem but it does soothe the skin that is flaring up.

Best Cream!!
Love this stuff!
I got this because menopause was killing my skin. It was awful! Itchy, red and dry. I couldn't sleep it was so bad.
I found this, and it's literally the only thing that actually helped. I went through my first jar quickly, no you don't need much, but my rash was all over my arms, neck and chest.
After my second jar and using it a few times a day, my rash is gone!
Some people may not like the smell, but I think it's actually nice. It's not greasy, and I don't feel gross after putting it on. I hate greasy creams.
On my third jar now! This one is lasting much longer since I don't need it as much.

Good Relief, But a Little Pricey
I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt like this cream deserved one. I’ve tried so many products for dry, itchy eczema patches, and most either felt greasy, burned when applied, or just didn’t do much. Puriya has been such a refreshing change. The texture is smooth, it absorbs quickly without leaving that sticky feeling, and within a couple of days my skin felt calmer and the redness started to fade.
What I really like is how versatile it is. I’ve used it on flare-ups, random dry spots, and even my hands when they get irritated in the summer. It feels gentle but still effective, and I don’t need to use a ton for it to work.
The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is the price. It’s a little on the higher side for the amount you get. I also find myself reapplying a bit more often than I’d like. But overall, it’s one of the better creams I’ve tried, and I’ll definitely keep using it.
