Designed to deliver reliable, scalable networking in dense environments, this Eaton Tripp Lite 48-Port Cat6 Patch Panel is the cornerstone of any high-performance IT rack. With 48 RJ45 ports in a compact 2U, 19-inch form factor, it helps you organize and manage Cat6 cabling without sacrificing valuable rack space. The panel features color-coded 110 punch-down slots for clean, quick terminations, enabling technicians to terminate cables accurately with a standard punch-down tool. Built for durability and long-term service, it is UTP Cat6 compliant and ready to support gigabit plus networks as your bandwidth demands grow. The TAA-compliant design makes it a versatile choice for enterprise data centers, government facilities, and commercial networks that require a robust, space-efficient patching solution. Whether you’re deploying a new network, expanding an existing one, or consolidating departmental cabling, this patch panel offers dependable performance, straightforward installation, and easy ongoing maintenance.

  • High-Density 48-Port Cat6 Patch Panel – Maximize rack space with a compact 2U chassis that neatly accommodates 48 RJ45 connections, enabling high-density cabling for data centers, enterprise closets, and lab environments. This patch panel is ideal for large-scale deployments where port density matters as much as performance.
  • 110 Punch-Down Termination with Color-Coded Slots – Terminate cables using a standard 110 punch-down tool. The color-coded termination blocks simplify wiring, reduce the risk of mis-punches, and streamline labeling, making moves, adds, and changes faster and more accurate.
  • UTP Cat6 Performance for Fast Network Speeds – Built for Cat6 cabling, this patch panel supports high-speed Ethernet up to gigabit-plus ranges with lower crosstalk and interference, providing a solid foundation for reliable local-area networks and future-proofing as traffic demands rise.
  • 2U Rack-Mount Design with TAA Compliance – A 2U (two rack units) height and standard 19-inch rack compatibility ensure straightforward integration into most IT environments. The TAA-compliant design meets procurement standards for government and large enterprises looking for quality, traceability, and durability.
  • Durable Construction and Easy Cable Management – Crafted for longevity in demanding data center settings, the patch panel provides sturdy metal construction and clear port organization. How to install Eaton Tripp Lite Series 48-Port Cat6 Patch Panel

Installing this patch panel is a straightforward process that enhances your network’s organization and performance. Begin by selecting a suitable 19-inch rack with sufficient depth to accommodate the panel alongside the cables you plan to route. Secure the patch panel into the rack using the provided mounting hardware, aligning it with other equipment to maintain proper airflow and accessibility for maintenance.

Next, plan your cable layout. Route Category 6 (Cat6) backbone cables from your switch, router, or distribution frame toward the back of the patch panel. Label cables clearly at both ends to simplify future moves or troubleshooting. Ensure you have a reliable 110 punch-down tool on hand, along with appropriate cable testers for verification after termination.

Terminate each incoming cable into the color-coded 110 punch-down slots. Follow the color code or labeling scheme you’ve established for your organization to minimize cross-wiring errors. Take care to trim conductors evenly and inspect each termination for secure seating and proper blade contact. A tidy, consistent termination helps prevent latency and crosstalk, preserving Cat6 performance across all ports.

With all cables terminated, connect RJ45 patch cords from the panel’s RJ45 ports to your devices, switches, or distribution panels as needed. Maintain clean, orderly cable routing with ties or Velcro strips to reduce strain and promote airflow. Finally, perform a comprehensive network test using a cable tester or network analyzer to confirm each link meets expected performance standards, and label each port for easy identification during future changes.

Maintenance is simple: periodically inspect terminations for signs of loose connections or physical damage, verify labeling remains legible, and re-test the network after any reconfiguration. Because this patch panel emphasizes color-coded 110 blocks and a dense 2U footprint, you’ll experience quicker terminations, clearer port maps, and smoother upgrades as your network evolves.

Diverse Worship--Make A Joyful Noise Unto The Lord All Ye Lands
Format: Hardcover
I love this beautifully illustrated story. Children and adults, too, learn God's vision for His church—true worship. Author Dorena Williamson presents an image of a church no longer divided by race, culture, or style of worship. Instead, the church is a gathering of God's people celebrating who He is and all He has done. Also included are author notes suggesting ways to share the importance of embracing and celebrating God's diverse world with children.

We Are Better Together
Format: Hardcover
One Sunday morning when all the Sunday school classes landed in a heap for a multi-generational assembly followed by muffins, I read aloud from The Celebration Place, Dorena Williamson’s anthem to the Body of Christ gathered. How refreshing to share the truth that worship (and worshipers!) will look and participate differently in other places! Here in rural Maine where a choir is as rare a sight as a brown face, Erin Bennett Banks’s vivid illustrations enriched the text, and I was pleased to hear adult chuckles accompanying the page about rappers “nodding to the beat” while “old folks stomp their feet.” Together, author and illustrator announce the church as “no longer a divided space. Now it’s a celebration place!” With so many fractures in our world upon which we can distance and divide, the pursuit of unity in the Body of Christ is difficult but crucial. The work toward delightful diversity done today in God’s House is affirmation of the truth that we are better together, and it is preparation for the day when we will join with all nations God has made to glorify his name, for he is great and worthy of our celebration. Many thanks to IVP Kids for providing a copy of this book to facilitate my review, which is, of course, offered freely and with honesty.
