作、繪者簡介
碧秋．勒．鐸
生於法國蔚藍海岸的聖拉菲爾，現在定居於紐約的薩格港，是兒童圖畫書的作家，也是插畫家。她的作品《唱一首新歌：詩篇之書》（Sing a New Song： A Book of Psalms）（Eerdmans）、《上帝的小種籽：寓言之書》（God’s Little Seeds： A Book of Parables）（Eerdmans）、《藍色的蝴蝶：克勞德．莫內的故事》（A Blue Butterfly： A Story about Claude Monet）（Doubleday）得到極高的讚譽。
碧秋對馬蒂斯的興趣來自她的父親，因為父親是最早帶她接觸馬蒂斯藝術的人。她曾寫到：「對我來說，馬蒂斯好像家人一樣熟悉，他的作品和我的童年永遠聯繫在一起。」

宋珮
加州大學聖塔芭芭拉分校藝術史碩士。現為中原大學人育學院藝術史、藝術欣賞課程兼任講師。試著運用圖畫書中的圖畫，引人認識藝術作品及藝術家，進而享受藝術中蘊藏的豐富心靈世界。
